I am here in KCMO and you will not find too much of that kind of stuff in a Goodwill or actual thrift store. I did go to an estate sale and the couple seem like they were once performers and there was some great items in their home but these sale kind of makes me sad because once there was a loving couple that seemed to make the most of their lives on how they dressed, decorated their home, and entertain because there were so many instruments, stands for instruments and music, and there was just beautiful music boxes and globes and artsy stuff. The stuff at this Estate Sales look like California inventory. I really like the items you selected but my most favorite was the sequins sheath sleeveless top and the wrap skirt.

Mind blown, I always considered Missouri to be a Southern State and I am a U.S. citizen born and raised haha, had to look it up, seems like south of I-70 it is considered a Southern State LOL... ANYWAY, seems like a thrill of a sale to shop, but her prices seemed way too high for me to be interested in persuing any of her sales. I am just too much of a thrifter! I recently went to a vintage store and I about choked at the pricing- I am spoiled thriting it myself! I WILL say that I WILL spend a little on special pieces that I know are hard for me to find personally, but even still, I know what I can find it for on Etsy and Ebay, so these special vendors need to come down on pricing to match the overall market and prevalence and abundance of shopping secondhand.... Just my take. I am a sucker for sequins too- but I have far too many and find them easily so I would never buy them at that price. The gingham set was priced WAY too high with needing work, and a possible hem job on pants as well as the waist- Shocked she didn't go way down on that for you. Show us the results of that alterations! I was certain you would find a jumpsuit! Bummer! The green dress was the best thing you bought, the best fit, style, and price.

Hi Annette. I saw an online video about keeping vintage garments fresh by spraying them with vodka but I haven't been able to find any other information on this tip other than Reddit threads. Just wondered if you had experience using vodka to deodorise vintage clothing? Love the video❤. Thank you!

I've tried this tip, did not work on a wool blazer. The sun exposure can make colors fade. So far the best tip I've tried to eliminate vintage smell was to put a garment into a freezer for several days

The 3 pieces suit gave you major camel toe… love the sequined top you got and that deep green dress. And way too expensive! My tailor charges $20-$30 for this type of alteration but I know CA is more expensive

Call me cheap if you want. The prices were way too high. I’ve purchased several sequined tops like those shown for $5 each. Excellent quality too. Again, too much $$$👎 The needed altering on the pants is easily done at home.

Most of your items were great price; the 3 piece outfit was not worh it for $145. Youwill spend almost $60 to have it altered!!!👎the lady didn't give you a good deal on those 3 pieces👎🫣
