And I learned that the only reason USA defended South korea was because they didnt want to north korea to win, only because they’re afraid that the comunism could take over one more country just like China. Same thing happened to vietnam. Its sad but at least South korea its free from comunism

Since most US troops in Vietnam was forced to go there under the draft so most US soldiers don't really care about Vietnam in general since they are forced to go there. Vietnamese don't give a shit about which ideology we belong we just want unity and independence. There is a reason why we fight the USA and after that, the Chinese too even though we are both Communist nations.

As a Filipino, I am proud to say that the Philippines is among the 16 UN Member countries that volunteered to send Filipino soldiers to help South Korea fight back against North Korean troops. I’ve visited the War Memorial Place when I was in Seoul and also the UN Cemetery in Busan. It was a heartwarming experience, especially seeing how South Korea honors the noble and brave soldiers that had helped them during the Korean War.

More than half of these, about 10 percent of Korea's prewar population, were civilians.
