Let's Take a Moment to Appreciate Lego Classic

Lego Classic is a theme I feel is overlooked by a lot of LEGO fans, but it's one that has a lot of positives to it. In this video, I take a look at two Lego Classic sets in particular, 11017 Creative Monsters, and 11013 Creative Transparent Bricks.

I think it would be cool if one day, they made a classic set with a larger diverse amount of parts. Like more complex and smaller parts, Instead of just bricks a small plates. Just my opinion tho

Actually Lego has already done this! it’s called “Lego Serious play”! While it is mostly meant for business and most of them must be bought in bulk, It’s still a very cool subset of Lego that not many people know about.

I have a few sets of classic from a few years back. I really enjoyed building monsters with them, and a few years later, it kind off inspired me to dismantle a lot of my LEGO sets, so that I could build my own MOCs.

As a moc builder they may not be great if you want specific parts in certain colours - but just to boost part collections they are great. You can prototype with parts in random colours and then work out what to bricklink

A lot of people say the classic line is mainly for younger kids, but I disagree! This line is perfect for all ages, comes with a great selection of bricks and you can really let your imagination run wild.

Lego Classic is one of the most underrated themes... It's the backbone of my entire collections... Complements excellently with other Lego themes... Greatly helped me for my MOC content in Tiktok ❤️✨!
