In Ohio we have a former House Speaker indicted for almost 61 million bribe scheme, passing House bill 6 , that would have us Ohioans paying First Energy billions over years . The trial for Householder starts in Jan. 2023 . A very interesting case that I believe goes up to Gov. Mike Dewine.

Well at least y'all have a court date. Over here in Texas, paxton was indicated for securities fraud seven years ago and as of this time, no court date has been set.

Here in Florida we've got Luis Miguel, a Florida House candidate, who proposed legalizing the shooting and murder of all federal officers in Florida, and Martin Hyde, another Florida House candidate, who said he would just shoot federal agents if they ever came to his home... and nothing's happened to them, except for Miguel getting a Twitter ban. Meanwhile, we're arresting 10-year-olds in Lee County and 18-year-olds in Hillsborough County who do the exact same thing and just verbally threaten to shoot people. Must be nice to be a politician, with that special golden parachute....

That's the only reason I could find why trump and people like him get to that level: enough people want the go ahead to be terrible to each other. If the person at the top is terrible, then I'm being friggin' >presidential< if I actively ignore that other people exist and have full, robust experiences not exactly like yet still very similar to my own.

Why is it that TN can have all of these serious political crimes and white collar ish, but the most they can muster in anti-abortion and anti-black sentiments? They've had their mountain tops lopped off and dumped in the river. But, their worried about blacks looting AutoZone. Why is that, I wonder.

The Committee, and DOJ are working hand in glove! THAT'S how it should work. I think the DOJ has finally gotten rid of the infiltrators, appointed or hired, from TFG's motley crew of fascists, and are moving on to former,(then current) criminals. Who are in state and federal government offices! That's where I think this is headed. WHEW, I can't wait for the new hearings to begin.

I live in TN. and I remember them being arrested. Our senators helped spread the big lie and there is a lot of corruption in this very red state. I hope they all pay dearly.

Isn’t that 90% of them? At this point it’s a known fact that most people that get into politics do it for the connections and generational wealth. Not service, well they say it is the reason. But it’s not.

In my opinion that is exactly why tRump will never face consequences for his crimes, because there are too many, very powerful people who don't want be forced to face them themselves.

I will say, in a state as impoverished as Tennessee (thanks for that, decades of Republican policymaking,) 50 grand goes a lot further than it does other places.
