I love spaghetti westerns, The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is one of the best films of all time. For a few dollars more is also an excellent film. The fact the Mandalorian started out as a "space western" is what drew me to the show, and back to Star Wars in general. My dog is named Josey, after Josey Wales; so needless to say; this set was a must have for me even though I already had the first appearance Cobb Vanth. It's a great set!

I think they really outdid themselves with the Cad Bane. This pack was an absolute must. I’m also a huge Cobb/Timothy Olyphant fan so I had to get it for him too.

Awesome! Cobb Vanth kept shooting his hat off. The two pack is a must buy! Riz? I have a a gift card with this set’s game on it. I love Book of Boba Fett. More characters from that show please. Cool you can put flame effect on either gauntlet. Bummer on ROM for Cad Bane’s elbow. Review Dok for sure. Boba Fett armor Vanth is the coolest. Now he’ll surely have his own mod squad armor after his duel with Cad Bane.

Bummer that there aren't double jointed elbows and the butterfly joint shown on the box is missing, there is even a faint trim line ready to go on the armpit. The figures look great in their limited poses though

I never was a fan of Cad Bane until I saw him in The Book of Bobba Fett. This set is a must have for me. It would have been a better set had they made the Cobb Vanth have removable Fett armor and made this priced at 3-pack level with blast effects and all.

I just picked up this set at Target today for less than $20. I was so glad to get it.... and save some money at the same time. I bought it for the Cobb Vanth fig, since I missed the other version, but am really digging the new style Cad Bane

this is one of those where i do kinda want it but not enough to pay two-pack prices for it even though i like them both a good bit, maybe it has something to do with cad's live action face still being kinda off-putting and the weird light blue on his forearms, even if it's accurate (i haven't actually checked)

I really do want that Cobb Vanth, but I'm not really keen on adding another Cad Bane at the moment as I find the CW version already perfect. Shame about Cobb's butterfly joints and lack of blast effects though

Great video! As someone who loves and been collecting for Mandalorian but hasn't watched the Boba Fett show, I ended up buying this. Was going to get the first Cobb Vanth release with his Boba Fett armor, but think this look is better for him as it's more his own. Also the likeness seems better too. As for Cad Bane? He just looks cool and I was gonna watch the Boba show anyways so glad to have him lol. Just hope I don't start collecting for that show too now...

@@td3trooper I think you're supposed to hook the back of the helmet on the hook and have him hold the cheek with his hand. At least that's how I had it since I don't think his rifle can hook on it

So this was an easy pass for me but when I saw them hitting stores, I was like maybe. But after watching the review I’m sticking my guns and not buying. They look good but not a fan of them cutting corners with the articulation. Paint is a must but I can easily add washes or dry brush stuff but I can’t add articulation with ease or without risk of destroying the figure. Also sloppy box, it takes years to design and make a figure and maybe minutes to an hour to remove the butterfly joints with photoshop. As always enjoyed the review and can’t wait for the next one.

Hello Mike thanks for sharing your thoughts on this new two pack of figures. I'm not overly crazy about either character to be honest, but I did get the original of both figures. I waited on Cobb Vanth, I refused to pay deluxe prices because he has Boba's armor on him, aka Boba tax. I did get him for $23 dollars on a May 4th sale, I was good with that. I've been debating about getting this set mostly because of the plastic effects that Bane comes with. If I find it on sale I'll probably get them. And another yes vote for a review of the Doc figure please. Why do you dislike Spaghetti Westerns? They were pretty instrumental in the creation of certain motifs and characters in the Star Wars franchise. Case and point, Boba Fett & Din D'jarin are inspired by The Man With No Name from Sergio Leone's Dollars Trilogy, Cad Bane is inspired by Angel Eyes from Sergio Leone's 'The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly' as well as Colonel Douglas Mortimer from 'For A Few Dollars More', and Jango Fett is inspired by Django from Sergio Corbucci's 'Django'. Spaghetti Westerns are a fairly large part of the building blocks of Star Wars.

I was originally going to skip this set. But I stumbled on it in store and caved. I have the original of both of these figures and think they are two of the better figures in the entire black series. The Bane face sculpt here is the Star of the set IMO. Limited elbows hurt the figure quite a bit Like most standard figures now there is little to no paint on either of them- especially Cobb. He’s pretty much all colored plastic body parts with little drips and dots of paint here and there. Compare that to the deluxe Cobb who retailed for $31.50 vs this new one at $28. For that extra 3.50 you got a painted backpack with removeable missile, a removeable helmet and chest, shoulder and knee armor ALL of which are full of paint and weathered scratches,etc. you also got a second blaster rifle, and butterfly joints. So much greater piece count, way more paint, and much better articulation. To me that easily justifies another $3.50 and a deluxe tag. Solid set. Wanted them both for a new BOBF shelf I started with Fennec, tusken Boba, and the shf throne Boba which is one of the best pieces in my collection. This is a great addition to that shelf So it was worth it to me.
