The reaper gem could be useful if a high health boss summoned low health mobs frequently and you could just wither impact them. However there isn't exactly any perfect boss for this: Necron can't be damaged when optimal, f/m6 giants drop down way too late. F/M4 maybe to kill spirit bears but you would get knocked around a lot. It would be strong if there was some optimal situation for this but there aren't.

In the f7 lava, if you are tank without shelmet the lava does not launch you, making even a single fall pretty much kill you. If you use a shelmet tho, the lava still launches you so yes it is also the best for tank

I was confused if reinforced scales or a turtle shelmet is better for my blue whale. But when changing my armor in dungeons, my tank antiknockback is gone for some reason. So dwarf turtle shelmet it is. Also helps with t5 revenant.

Very Niche Use that works for me: If you afk goblins and you have Frozen Blaze armor then you could use the Jerry pet as an income boost, this however is only useful if you dont have the black cat pet.

all skills boost is bad, for some damn reason xp share pets get a 25% buff to all xp while equipped, it's funky (that's if you don't have other pets with xp share ofc)

You don't notice it most of the time with hyp, but getting secrets or going into places which are awkward to to onto, like ladders for example are so annoying without a shelmet, besides black cat lucky clover,xp boosts and the fishing and mining ones, once you have enough money there is basically never a time you don't want a shelmet there's literally like 5 times it's not the best
