Let's Talk about St Helier (Jersey)

Union St. Wonderful memories of times spent there in 1969. Went back in 1980s for a dose of nostalgia, only to find it had disappeared. Very sad. St Helier was a very pretty, quaint town with a surprise round every corner. Now it looks like everywhere else. The planners have destroyed it. R.I.P.

Shocked to see Southampton pulled down & others lived on the esplanade at customs pub for couple of years.
