I think the thing that is so great with your channel is how authentic you are, and I think that makes it so the algorithm doesn't pick you up cause you dont use any tricks or anything to get picked up. However, while this means you have less subs and views and whatever, it makes your channel like a hidden gem. The subscribers you do get are much more loyal imo. Now I have nothing against Ghost, he makes awesome videos and he was a huge inspiration for me, but most likely all of his recent subs are from people who dont even know what balisong means, whereas your channel is great for people who know what youre talking about and just want something a little different than will hirsch or bladebias. Nothing against any other balisong channels tho we love you too

yea it kinda is more of a channel only found by flippers i watch so many channels with less than 1k subs and i kinda forget they arent mainstream youtubers everyone knows

Sadly, that’s not how it works. Rising Star only works for your first year of creating. I got nominated a lot for it this year, but I started my channel last year so I wasn’t qualified.

Was awesome to have you! As I said throughout the show just being nominated is awesome and shows people really appreciate what you do! If its any consolation you and Ghost were very similar in sub count and he's jumped up to 16k in like 2 weeks *after* the voting ended, so the community really hit the prediction on that one. Also I honestly have 0 idea how Banks' @ is supposed to be pronounced so you could've totally had it correct! 😅

Kinda gave up on bali awards personally, i was nominated last year but i knew i wasn't gonna win cuz its always the most popular. If a lot of people in the community doesn't know what you do, you're not gonna win, in my eyes its just about how popular you are. Like u said just do ur own thing and vibe with it
