It's been a "what if " morning. Started with slight stomach cramps, became full blown "blockage" in my head even though I've used the bathroom lol . Got myself out the house short drive, parked up. Sat here, chatting to my brain assuring it WE are ok. Let the tears out and calmed myself. I am safe. Needed to hear this message today, thanks.

Dan is correct. I also get a “tingle” or symptom sometimes. I do not panic. It goes away very quick. Problem is, when I used to panic, my symptoms would explode and stay for up to a year.

Thanks for sharing that! It's exactly how it works. Without the fear, symptoms fade away as fast as they begin.

I so appreciate this. When I first discovered Joe Dispenza I knew that my brain had the ability to heal my body but the belief that I had to meditate for hours every day threw me into a deeper cycle a fight or flight. I spent years trying to meditate and healing and I only got worse! Over the years as I began to understand the way fear affected me physiologically I began to intuitively understand that the key was to feel safe and to get back to living as if I were already well and not spend every waking moment doing mental gymnastics to “heal”. I’m so grateful I found your work as your healing validates everything I’ve become to believe intuitively on my journey. Forcing myself to spend hours a day doing things to heal that I normally wouldn’t choose to do for fun is just crazy making! After 50 years of chronic illness I do believe that I am finally learning what I truly need to heal and that my journey is finally moving from one of healing to one of living. Thank you for the generosity of your time and sharing these videos daily, I am so grateful!🙏❤️

I’d been trying to “manifest“ a healing for a decade. Now I truly understand that my brain and body have been working perfectly and that my only work is to relax and do what brings me joy to show my brain that we are no longer in whatever circumstances we were in when it perceived danger. 50 years of asthma symptoms and I went jogging this morning!💃

Your videos are awesome and so helpful. This is an especially good one to send to family and friends who don't quite understand it. I understand it and believe but still hard to wrap my head around the fact that the brain creates pain, weakness and even disables it because it thinks we're in danger when those things put us in worse danger.
@PainFreeYou

The brain controls EVERYTHING. Literally everything.
@kellybonanno
@kellybonanno 2 жыл бұрын
@@PainFreeYou I do get that but it just doesn't make sense that the brain creates pain, weakness, disability to protect us but it's actually making us far more unsafe.
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 2 жыл бұрын
@@kellybonanno This is all controlled by the subconscious brain. If the brain perceives danger, its only warning signal is pain or other symptoms. While it may not make logical sense, it's how the brain, pain and body function. Working within the framework of how the brain and pain functions is the best way to reverse the brain creating pain. Your brain is functioning perfectly. It's just operating on misinformation (PERCEIVED danger) and fear. My getting started page offers a more complete picture. www.PainFreeYou.com/start

When I was experiencing another panic attack yesterday for no reason, I keep wondering why my brain thinks I am in danger? I have been working on clarity and correct input to the brain, but the panic just comes out of the blue without any warning and my whole body shuts down. This is so frustrating. I will keep trying to get the bad data out of my head.
@PainFreeYou

Much of this is subconscious. The way forward is to use the conscious thinking brain to show the subconscious we are okay.

It definitely can. Any input we believe can cause the brain to do something with that bad data. Or correct data if someone is telling you that you are fine.

Hi Dan. If a new pain symptom arises during a stressful time, and you mostly remain calm but sometimes struggle with worry, then it doesn’t go, and you’re aware of it day after day, notice it every time you do certain movements, certain positions - what do you do? I have a fear that after a certain point of the new pain being present - that’s it. It’s chronic. Is that an irrational fear? I just feel powerless to stop new things turning persistent
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 2 жыл бұрын
Greg - simply put, fear + attention can turn something that's not a big deal persistent. You've just described it perfectly. The key is clarity. If a new symptom arises during a stressful time, it's most likely TMS / Mindbody - perceived danger pain/symptoms. Use that clarity to dial down the fear and worry. Focus on living your life. It's not a new problem to solve or worry about. All of this is possible.

I am confused and would like to know what is the difference between rewiring or retraining and teaching the Brian .
@PainFreeYou
@PainFreeYou 2 жыл бұрын
Rewiring and retraining over-complicates things in my opinion. I focus on a simple approach where we fix the misinformation with accurate knowledge of WHAT is going on so we can dial down the fear and shift attention away from the symptoms back to living. When we do that, the symptoms can fade away.
