It's so wholesome that she's gotten Dusty's accent or drawl.

FYI "Pons Asinorum" is Latin for "Bridge of Asses", and is the nickname for a math theorem in Euclid's Elements where the triangles look like a bridge. It's also the first challenging problem in the book, so it separates the talented/skilled from the untalented/unskilled, and is the source of the phrase.

Hey Dusty, you’ve definitely reached the comfort zone. Your onstage demeanor is so relaxed and flows so well. BTW I have unconsciously developed the “Dusty Wave”. My wife noticed it and brought my attention to it. I do it everywhere from the Walmart greeter to the doctors office waiting room. 😂

This was like listening to someone talk about the struggle of learning how to blow a bubble with bubble gum. Some people figure it out some people don't.

Not meaning to sound entirely so corny but... There are so many encounters with a "Bridge of Asses" in life. I'd never heard of of that bridge but I've seen it a lot. I so enjoy these "shorts" with both of you and wish they could be a bit longer. I have enjoyed all topics and their randomness. It would be nice to hear an update on your gardening/landscaping. Those precious shots of sweet baby Slay onstage in the early days was "awwww 🥰" inspiring. (See what I did there 😁)

When I was 30 I went through that too. Now at 48, I realize that I never knew sh!t and now I don’t care. I’m just going to do what makes me happy. 🙌

You can tell y'all have been around each other for many years, as your speech patterns are strikingly similar! You both explain things in a very deliberate, punctuated manner while slowing down on multi-word phrases and compound sentences. Easy to follow! Could both be excellent elementary teachers :)

So many commedians get laughs from vulgarity, people laugh because of the outlandish nature of what they just heard. It is like Thrillers versus Horror. Thrillers engage the fight or flight response with jump scares, grogesue scenes, and the like. Forcing the viewer to react. Horror terrifies people mentally, suspense, mental imagery, and tapping into fears. One is a reaction the other is a experience. I think good comedy has to do more than evoke a reaction, it needs to provide an experience.

*edit* a asked chat GPT and I think....I think I did write this joke*. I sincerely don't remember if I wrote this joke myself which I think I did or heard it somewhere but whenever someone mentions country music I always ask them if they've heard of Keith Urban and then I say after listening to his music I think he should change his name to Keith rural. That or he should start rapping. I think this is a pretty good joke and if I wrote it you should do it but how to confirm or deny ownership of this joke
