Astonishing! You calmly tell us that you have had concerns for some time, but nevertheless continued to make deliberately misleading vids for them. Your last vid plugging the EA release was just ten days ago. TEN DAYS FFS! And even at the end of this vid when you directly address those viewers who were drawn to your channel because of DC (which explains your motive for continuing to shill for them), you don't even have the stones to apologise. But we're now supposed to take your word for it, that you will be the very model of integrity, turning the spotlight of truth on broken games and dodgy devs? LMFAO

@Jim-kc2ol When the devs explained their vision, it was always very optimistic. Even after recording that recent video in my talks with Ed about the issues, he said that a lot of stuff would be addressed prior to release. My decision to separate from them was in seeing that his behavior toward me had also been directed at players with critique. I'm all down for an EA game working through issues. However, the behavior toward those trying to help was unacceptable. Thanks for the comment man, I can only hope to do better!

Not known to a lot of people, but the developers of Contain (Horror tactical shooter) are a good example of how to handle harsh criticism. They got straight into fixing the game, and made it a more playable experience within a few months. No drunken rants or gate-keeping.

When I mentioned to the dev that they should add mods, team AI and a third person view in the discord, the guy was defensive and his team seemed to be annoyed. Since then, I knew this was going to flop. Give the community what they want and they will take care of you.

to me, the biggest issue of this game is that the dev's ego is too damn big, unless he genuinely apologizes for attacking and calling all the negative reviews and constructive criticisms "false informations" or "misleading", which I doubt he will, even if he somehow manages to turn this game a complete 180 around, even if the game suddenly becomes AAA quality, I don't think it's gonna make that much of a difference because of the bad taste this developer has left in everyone's mouth

Try the game: BLACK ONE, BLOOD BROTHERS. The game is amazing but still hasn't got much attention unfortunatly. It's very tactical and immersive, there's all kinds of weather effects, you get a tons of very well made maps, incredible customizations, a ton of cool gears, there's also a workshop. And the game is only 20$. Totally worth it. I think you should try it out and review it on your channel cause that game truly deserve succeeding in my opinion.

I left due to some disagreements between me and them I told them they had to handle things differently and that I didn't know if they where the place for me to be. Been anxiously awaiting a video from you on this game once it came out. I bought in to this game awhile back and was very excited to get my hands on it. Unfortunately I refunded the game in just over an hour. Really hope the devs turn this thing around but yikes. What a horrible release

Excellent video as always. Yeah I was wondering if you were going to make a video like this. From terrible responses to criticisms to strange pricing options (I'm looking at you 500$ Patreon), there was a lot wrong with their strategy. I'm sorry you had to deal with the craziness, but I'm glad you got away from it and I'm looking forward to future videos! Keep up the good work man!

Great video. This is crazy how they treated you. They have done this to other players too, one guy had his game revoked when he was asking about the game on Steam and why it kept crashing. I then posted that you can't be doing that to your customers and just because you disagree with someone you can't remove their game they bought (they wouldn't refund their money), I got permanently banned from their community page on Steam.🤨

i feel like their biggest issue isnt even that they released it in a bad state, yes it was a poor decision but i feel like how they are handling everything is so much worse. Ed making voice messages ranting about topics for 3-5 minutes, him telling content creators to upload videos or get keys removed, telling people in his discord that patreon money was getting sent out to people in ukraine, ect. I wasnt going to buy the game from what ive seen from their live streams leading up to the release, luckily while i was watching a stream i ended up winning a key giveaway so i could at least give it a shot. You can actually see my review at 10:05 in the video, basically pointing out a vast majority of assets they are using. To someone who isnt familiar with UE Assets they see a lot of what the game offers and think its cool, but it isnt when almost all their systems and assets are purchased directly.

Dev is trying to rebrand now. Took down his official Direct Contact KZbin channel and started a new one called Mountain81. Changed the Discord to Mountain81 and changed his personal Discord name from Desouza Ed to Tactical Gamer 81. He says he changed everything for future marketing of new games. You will get booted if you question him on this. Smells.

Yeah and let's mention that this guy is going on these tirades and also saying that he's giving money to charity to Ukraine to Africa and all these other places whenever people gave him that money to develop the game and not give that money away It can sound like a charitable thing to do if he really did do it but at the end of the day that was not his money to give that's scamming people simply put and him going off on people like that definitely not something I'm going to support no matter how good the game becomes he's been getting thousands upon thousands of dollars with nothing to show for it except insult people that buy it any negative reviews he tells them to go F themselves I'm usually for people being able to find success because I love to see these games that people have passion to see what they can create and some of the most unique games that are out there are indie games but in this situation I hope he doesn't find success somebody like that doesn't deserve it treating the people that give your game exposure like crap and on top of that insulting the people that buy your game that have legitimate criticism to the point it's not even criticism it's absolutely facts about your game Also i should mention I bought the game and refunded it within 10 minutes you are truly a saint for playing this and putting up with his antics for a year and a half i dont see how you did it but the only good thing that has come out of direct contact is me finding your channel

Yep, it took a weird turn. Buying medkits in military, harvesting weapon parts from killed enemy to sold it on grey market (to the same military guy that officially sell you medkits). On one side they dont wanna implement Toggle ADS cause it is not COD and apparently toogle ADS it is not realistic, but they have quick one hand no pin pul grenade throw. And dev seems to be entitled, condescending and quite delusional about his game which is sad as it might prevent him to see the issues. They started as promising title but it is not looking good right now. I tend to install/unistall it after few updates to see how it is going but right now I wouldnt recommend it.

I ask myself why producing a Game With Engine 5 , its the newest graphic okay . But maybe unreal Engine 4 Like Ground branch , Ready or Not would be enough . And everytime I saw live streams from the developer the Game Looks Great & Funny . But I wished the Game works With ue4 .

Would add that SPT or Single player Tarkov mod, does give you the Stalker or original Tarkov gameplay or immersion. As an older gamer with not so much time to even play games, mainly play only SP games as no time for multi play etc. Its why only like games like Arma, ground branch, ron and thought this game would be another similar game. But from all the drama seems this one is a lost cause. Shame that people have to act like this dev as pre-alpha or not, he took payment from customers and investors. He is entitled to give these people a product that they paid for. Otherwise this is pure fraud and or theft. Seems many EA steam games go this way.

So the ego centered dev launhes his over hyped game. Sure you might get early access and access to their discord. Yet if you leave any true feedback that hurts their feel goods; they'll take your early access back, key your money, write a bunch of lies about your in their discord. One would think that when a dev is struggling to find a solution to fix a major problem that they're having they're thank you for giving possible soultion (on top of that for free) to help them figure out how to fix... for example the ai with super vision only needing one pixel to see you and can see through brush and leaves (idk if they ever fixed this, since i got banned for trying to help them solve this). And I'm not the only one who he's done this to, I"ve seen it done to at least 4 other people. And not they have no game, their money taken away, and been treated like crap by a self ego dev. And I even gave them a whole month to cooldown their ego and ask for forgiveness before sharing how terrible the dev and lemon are to those that don't only praise all of their work. Instead of focusing on fixing things that many players have pointed out, he'lll waste time making the explosives look as amazing as you can. Yet the dumb super vision ai just need to notice you with only one pixel through the see-through shurb with nearly flawless and instant accuracy. And guess what now after stealing my key I have to buy it again to see if it's even only half as bad on the actual release is vs the beta.. talk about highway robbery. And yeah I get it's not complete, yet a dev that don't just not listen to feedback about poor optimization (22 fps max on a 3080ti 16g), xray ai, and many other thing; instead attacks, bans, steals keys, and slanders those who put in effort and time to supported him don't deserve respect back and room for having the many flaws that people got banned for mentioning.

19 euro for such sloppy, choppy far from alpha stage game. 4090 and 13900kf and game is very laggy and would crash a lot for me. dont know what to say. i was waiting for it to finally show up on steam and after 6 hours im sooooo disappointed. very disappointing.

I know man, I fell for the hype. I was telling them about the problems and they would eventually get me in a voice chat and win me over telling me that they were fixing all those and that it would all be fixed up on release. I didn't really have a problem with the bugs and truly thought they would take criticism well and improve. Then they crapped on the whole community. Again, I do apologize for hyping the game. This was a lesson learned for me. Thanks for the genuine feedback. Hope you stick around!
