Thanks for video! You are always on top of things. I was using armor and it was definitely over powered. I’m not upset about the nerf on engravings. Some were needed. I have plenty of pp, but I just wish I hadn’t used so many shards. I’m thinking power surge might be a good one to use. 🤷‍♂️

I am very upset with the change . I was maximizing the research as fast as I could and dumped more than 140 shards a day. I went through all my my shards and have nothing to build powder with. I have over 120 coins and several large build ups. I didn't know what to spend the coins on. I've tried three of the engraver options and am still learning. Now, to find out that I'm going to be charged more powder that I don't have, I'm furious. I see them now selling shards as if they are instant training or higher.

The "tip" of the resource tokens I think is fake, also is 1000% better a level up than the tokens, so with a level up you save between 20-200 tokens, so I hope the "tip" works in reverse. 😆😆

When you're a high level player, you can afford the powder, but feel ripped off I used so much shards to level them up only to now have to use powder to keep them activated, I just cleared all the bases on my map and was wondering why it seemed my GBE seemed to be low at each OP until I freaking realized that my engraving wasn't activated.

I’ve never really used this or understood it either. Do not care either. I play mostly on warship. Will try and get enough loot during crab to get an upgrade. Any more and it starts feeling like a job.

A level up is far better long term because it will eventually finish some engravings instead of rolling junk constantly that you will never use

Ok for the engraver changes because it will be for everybody ! But now I have spent a lot of tokens to max my leech engravings, will I have a refund for the waste of time and money ??? SuperCell is really not fair ! Thanks Skull for your great videos ! 👍👍👍

Unfortunately, you will not have a refund for your research tokens after maxing leech. But I hope Supercell does something for the community for situations like yours.

I don't want to sound overly negative but, I already stopped researching for engravings. I will save my shards for a few weeks to see if they will change anything regarding the 12 hour boost. I hope that the devs will improve the new system that will come with this update. Other than that, the rest of the update is pretty good. 👍

I think many players will follow the same path, Chris. Boosting engraver now will be like a special treat. Crab pushes and........ I guess it depends on the amount of Power Powder you have now. And it's not being negative It's being honest!

I was only doing 2 at a time, cost for 3 & 4 wasnt worth it - now im sandbagging it - maybe use it during crab - just another way boom beach remains 2nd rate

This nerf only benefit hardcore/paying players, that are the ones that have 1000s of power powders. In contrast, for more casual players (like me) that have in the 10s, will make us use it even less, increasing the level difference. This will not make players try different ones: players will keep using the ones they already prefer, just paying more. If gamedevs really intended to make players try new things, then a better strategy would be to rotate the avalible ones in seasons (keeping the upgrades you got for the next time they show up).

This update makes all player unhappy because they spend too many diamonds and shards for upgrading percentage but boom beach not give anything back, personally I think all are good for balancing game but it's the worst to activate just 12 hours they make it just like sculptor to activate with power powders time limit, permanent activate in engraver was good.

You have to use shards to build the engravings. Then use powder to use the engravings. But you also need shards to get powders. Smh. Glad I built the engraver late so didn’t waste all those shards.
