So since the new update, there seems to be a lot of negativity within the Fall Guys community, so I decided to discuss and talk about it.
This video is not meant to call out anyone, this goes for the whole community.

The problem Mobile won't have that ability to handle so many on screen so them doing that is pretty much preparing for Mobile.

@@ShioriNovelite1 they should make it to where either mobile isn’t cross play with console or two different knockout modes, 1 detecated to mobile cross play to where it is 32 players (the only mode for mobile players), and 60 player knockout for pc and console

The only thing I don't like is that if I wanna play old and official levels they force me to play in duos or squads with team rounds... I like creative but let me play classic solo too.

Sincerely, I’m on both sides. I do like all the changes and the explore mode but starting to abandon what the game started on with the removal of the “Vault” show, it’s not a good change. If the knockout refreshes with other unity rounds, we will get much more variety, and that’s my opinion on this update!

I usually consider the complains a bit exaggerated, but this time I agree. Even if some people like the things they added, it's extremely stupid not to have the opportunity to CHOOSE if we wanna play the new stuff or keep playing the classic solo show. That's, in my opinion, the major problem.

Things I want is 5-6 round shows Unvault rounds, team games, didn't like what they did to Hoopsie daisy, and not sure how Tail tag in squads is decided . And want Creator rounds out of the final rounds, I don't mind them in squads or duos but not in finals or if they are better placement options since I lost the final just because someone started ahead of me and I made no mistakes in the level. But I'll still be playing the game for as long as the servers remain online

I feel like this depends what type of player you are If you are a creative player you will love this update but unity players would hate it

First of all great advice. Don't spread hate or vent frustration anywhere! And even less in a game. As for the new update there's many things I like but what seems like a major turndown for me are rhe creative survival levels showing up too much. These levels are EXTREMELY BAD, pointless and so so so boring. Not sure how long I'll be able to tolerate it.

I don't agree with your philosophy on venting frustration. If people want to share their opinion on how bad the game is, let them. But I do agree that the survival levels are crap. They need to be removed and replaced with Unity survival rounds.

We should be able to give MT constructive criticism. It is our job as players to give feedback. However, we do not need to focus on every small bad thing and use it to bash the entire game constantly

Personally i'm on the side of the hate, there is many nrw good features I agree but they fucked over knockout, what I played the most since i don't like the creative maps much.

The only reason we are complaining about this update is because we love the game. And we want to see it become the masterpiece it once was. I think maybe MediaTonic needs to listen to their community a lot more, that's the main thing. But like I said, we just want this game to be fun again, and by complaining is how we get heard.

What my problem with the 2 sides drama is that, before this update we had a choice to play either exclusively creative, or a mix where the unity rounds were still the majority. Which was not perfect but it worked for both those who enjoy creative more, and those who enjoy unity made rounds more. However, after this update everyone is more or less forced to play creative, there’s no longer a CHOICE. The people who defend creative often will say things like “unity are too easy, too boring” which I buy, it’s a reasonable argument. But on the other hand, for a lot of players the creative maps are WAAY too complicated and hard to play, which in turn makes the game frustrating and unappealing. So what I wanna say is we NEED a choice if we wanna play creative rounds or not, because they are not end all be all for every single player. And this right here is why so many are saying this update ruined the game.

i agree with you, i personally think unity rounds are much better for knockout, plus most creative maps tend to be repetitive and feel bland with the limited obstacles, and i don’t think mediatonic bringing creative maps to knockout is bad, (they chose really good rounds) i just think they put too much creative rounds in it. also i feel like the piggyback mode is knockout should be totally removed and exclusive to explore mode. the knew psychics also feel really weird too.

Only thing I don’t like is how awful the emote wheel is on the switch. Feels horrible/inconvenient to try to even use it .-.

Ín my opinion the Update is good, but they remobed unity levels,thats sad but thats why they aded codes tó fall guys creative maps,so you can search out a map and play it,but idk why is there creative maps in knockout if Explore mode is suposed to play cool creative levels. Maybe the fall guys team is a little bit lazy.Also I don't love 3 rounds in knockout

The problem is many love unity maps why did devs not make a split! creative solo duo squads then Unity solo duo squads then no one would have issues as you can choose what you want to play the rounds are too short that's bad for new players as Us speedy demons will always outrun them and they always loose round 1😢, They need to consider all players feelings before making a big decision like this update as it's us players supporting them what if we all leave the game they will have to shut down so a community vote would have been a good decision before they considered removing all unity maps. I do believe however each update broke the game meaning they broke unity maps like they usually do and no they forcing creative on us lol

Yeah I agree with you. I've noticed that the longer fall guys goes along, the more toxic and opinionated the community comes. I understand the problems with this update, but we can't say "Epic is horrible" or "The whole game is bad," like, MT is trying their best here so let's let them cook :)

Yeah 👍. The best part about an update, is that disliked changes can be altered, and tweaked to make it better for the player base. Also geez the FG community can be pretty negative at times…

I don't think this is a very good take at all really. People are just going to become more opinionated if you do things that are way more divisive. They've removed emotes, something people have spent actual money towards, turned Solos, Duos and Squads into Survival Showdown which is criminal as that was boring in itself, removed all the best finals and vaulted over 30 maps when people were mostly already annoyed at the amount vaulted. Don't support any abuse that has been dished out on social media or anything like that but this type of response all feels like gaslighting to defend what is a genuinely horrific, lazy update. The whole game, currently, is in fact bad and I'm pretty certain MT aren't trying their best, this update feels like dumbing the game down and loading it full of creative rounds so it's ready to go as a mobile game. People are entitled to hate it, it objectively fucking sucks.

@@benzo9059 They didn't remove emotes, in fact, they added more.... Also you only mentioned the bad stuff, which is exactly my point. The community only focuses on the bad things in the update. You forgot to mention the new communications wheel, new mode to endlessly play, tons of returning custom shows we haven't seen in years, new game changing creative mechanics, new fame pass, new fame system to help you level up faster, new piggyback mechanic to help struggling beans, and more! I'm not saying this update is entirely good, cuz there is a lot of bad things. However, I personally believe that for this update, the good out weighs the bad. We can equally focus on the good and bad without only focusing on the bad things of every single update

I don't really get why some people hate on this update. Sure, so stuff is not great, and there seeoms to not be much Fall Guys in Fall Guys left, but, this update made the game FUN again! I've never had more fun playing than after this update! I get that the facts aren't great, but have you played after the update?

They did some good and some bad in this update. They already have fixed one of the biggest complaints by giving shards in explore mode. Wait a few weeks before making your final opinion.
