Catch up gear is totally okay with me. I’ve been playing a year and struggling the get anything over 270 speed so it sure is nice to get at least one unit in a low level of competitive

this isnt really a problem.. when the game is honestly pvp heavy and gear is one of the reasons many people tend to quit the game, i find this okay. i dont mind catch up packs, its also available to everyone.

As long as the gear remains at the “catch up” level, I’m fine with it. If they start selling gear sets with top level perfect stats then I’ll move on to another game.

A bad balance patch + these gear sets has me feeling the exact same way. This is ignoring the fact that most new ML 5*s are just unfun to go against as well making pvp feel worse

If it stays like this i don’t see the issue. The prices aren’t crazy and outside the speed hit set nothing is truly stand out. If you look at card games like Hearthstone you essentially need to buy packs every few months to stay competitive and get the new sets. You do it F2P but it’s a huge slog and time investment. As long as they aren’t offering fully rolled end game quality gear and it happens in frequently it won’t be a problem as it makes the game more accessible. If it’s a regular thing then it’s going to be a giant problem.

The problem of these sets isnt that you can reach those stats or more if u play 2-4 years or less.... The deal IS you get perfects combined subs , from 0, without stealing from.anyone, for a specific build that can take 8 months to get. Even so, leaving the gold and charms u save for trying, and even actually getting a speed gear set rolling to +17 speed and even with subs with no wastes.... There are people buying leaves and other stuff from similar price and wont ever get that for so low. We are talking of 6 pieces that give a desired output, instantly, without nerfing anyone. Lets be real, your luna isnt built today, isnt built 3 weeks ago. That luna IS the result of stealing from.other units for her sake that reached this over time. And, if u mix the stats of the speed/hit set.... You cant say thats a cleaver setup! Is a 250-270 eff build build for a debuffer! Is like saying this is terrible bec ml ken doesn't want speed. If u need a 270 speed debuffer with 1,5k 15k and 150 eff.... This is bonkers. And im.not talking of sharing those 6 with others for making multiple 250 speed units. Put that un solitaria, and compare It with a full invested 90x6 soli do you see the diff? Cant you really compete at the same lvl if u use that character f.e.? I think IS a mistake comparing speed that isnt for a cleaver, with cleaver orientated gear. you dont need 3 speed roles on those pieces, you need 4 rols or more for a 300 cleaver! XD. I bet with anyone for perfect subs, perfect rols, and perfect build, from 0, in less than 6-7 months (without spending) and all the mental health and time, and most important, that you can already play that character those months in advance. In summary, those Who say is only for begginners (here IS massive bonkers ngl), that isnt competitive in high elo for that kind of character, that you can already built it with actual gear and gear from others from years, those Who buy leaf packs and stuff... Or arent experienced enough, or are completly fools. This is not a perfect luna gear, IS ok. Luna needs more speed, and kinda can forget the eff

I don't think pay to catch up is even correct because without a wide array of ML 5* units AND good equipment you won't be competing in PvP at all, It sucks to say but it seems like they're kinda slowly milking the rest of the money they can out of this before an eventual shutdown. It seems anymore they don't care to make changes for the health of the game and would rather change it to be more short term profitable.

I came back a few months ago. I pitied DBSenya, pulled Judge Kise, and have STeneb, MLKen, DDRey. That's it. 100 pulls in and I dont think I can get Luna. Seems like a good time to quit playing because Im not about to buy all those packs to force things along.

Pretty blatant p2w and also a huge change in policy. There is no way this is a "one time deal". Definitely keeps me from spending to get Luna if this is the direction they're heading.

Been playing for 4 years. The 17 speed set and the 15 speed set (bought both) are now the two fastest sets I own. I don't know how you guys have such high (20+ per piece) speed gear. I have one 23 speed weapon on speed set and one 20 speed ring on crit set, and the rest of the affixes on both pieces are bad... other than that the highest speed pieces (until buying these two sets) were around 11 to 13.

I don't like when the game make new or lower rank player skip the struggle in instant way that's sign of cash grab game idk, i hate the game make p2w exclusively remove rng aspect from rng base, it's lazy fix
