TLDL: The Riize boycott is due to SMs mishandling of Seunghan after predebut videos and photos were leaked, only filing a mere complaint and taking the legal action into consideration but automatically turning to that with Eunseok, Sohee and Anton. Now that Riize is having an ot6 comeback yet again, Briize have officially set the boycott into motion to show SM the value Seunghan has to Riize. Through the Boycott, this can open the eyes to SM about their mistreatment towards their idols.

I feel like this is one of those things that can really make or break the way that company starts to view international fans. Personally as someone who has lived both in Asia and now currently lives in America I’ve seen boycott happening from the Chinese Korean and Japanese fans and how Because of them being able to actually execute these boycott the companies take them a lot more seriously even when it comes to stupid things like dating, which is why you’ll see them have idols apologize for being humans and being in relationships. I also feel like this video does such a good job explaining why it all happening because I definitely think a lot of fans and people aren’t understanding that it’s not just to get him back. Yes, there’s a high possibility we’re not getting him back that the company is just going to have him on high. It is for a long time and then quietly have him leave the group. The issue is it feels as if SM entertainment is now doing absolutely nothing every time something happens to the artist. I feel like you don’t even have to mention the Chinese member from the Chinese unit that they had and what a shit shovel that was and how the company did nothing they gave a blanket statement have him apologize vaguely and then didn’t do shit for three goddamn years, even when all the evidence was falling apart, even when the person who made the initial claims sold their account admitted that they lied on Chinese, social media etc. the company did nothing and it has caused so much discourse with fans of that group and also with fans of that member because it’s like you guys could’ve done something legally you could have and should have done something. Even with this, it’s like these was invasion of privacy. This group has barely been a year old. At this point they have had private Instagram account live streams, recorded and posted up, pictures and photos, and even a handful of videos posted up, they’ve had recent pictures and things leaked out that again our private matters have nothing to do with their job and is an invasion of privacy something that the company should genuinely be doing something about Yet they haven’t. Not to mention I feel like people forget not only do they make this man apologize but then they have the other two members with the rest of them do a live stream where they all looked Solom and like they did something wrong and then had the group apologize, for the fact that their privacy of two of their members were invaded in that no one had any right seeing were leaked and it’s the weirdest thing ever. At this point if people don’t boycott this company honestly and it starts with this one boycott for the group. I don’t think this company is going to get any better and it’s crazy because we know how crappy this company is we don’t have to look very far you don’t even have to be a fan of Super to know that they had a Chinese unit and that was an absolute shit show. Those two Chinese members were treated like crap and they’ve talked about it. You don’t have to have been around in the 2012 to know about their Korean Chinese boy group and how badly that ended to the point where they got sued by basically everyone except for one Chinese member, and all the members who sued them technically won because that’s how much evidence was that they were repeating being treated horribly by the company, not to talk about the way that they do contracts because they were the initiators of the slave contract, which made the government in Korea, have to mandate that idol contracts cannot be longer than seven years because they have people signing over a decade plus of their lives to them. It’s about time that this company has to deal with the outcome of their actions. And the only way they will ever change is if you hit them where it hurts which is money and I think it’s weird that international fans do not see this the reason why companies will jump through hoops for the Asian fan basis, if they complain, or even remotely whisper, or hint, at boycotting a group for whatever reason even if it’s for the dumbest thing like dating, they will have their idol up and ready to apologize they will sit there and they will quickly get that information that needs to be given to those fans out. There is because they will genuinely boycott. They will hit the company where it hurts their money they will not buy any of the merchandise. They will not buy any of the music. They will literally have a full on blackout where they won’t stream any of the music either like they will avoid every anything to do that artist I’ve seen it happen firsthand, and I’ve also watched it happen after moving on the Internet, and just how scarily good they are at this and the funny thing is half of the time these are phantoms that do have inter fandom issues just like international phantoms do the only difference is Asian fans are also well aware of the fact that if they sit there, and they band together against the company For whatever reason they’re going to see movement and that’s something that I definitely feel like international fans because they make up a huge majority of the fan bases now need to understand and get on. Y’all can hate each other and disagree with things all you want. There’s nothing wrong with that but when it comes to issues like this, when it comes to companies doing dumb stuff like this, you wanna see changes you wanna see idols being able to date people and not have to apologize. Do you wanna see idols being able to be human beings and not have to pretend to be these weirdly perfect creatures. Then you guys need to band together when the time calls for it like here when it comes to boycotting something or when it comes to blacking out accompany, not giving them any type of money revenue none of that from the international fans and you will see those changes happening because they’ll sit there and see that I’m majority of the fandom a majority of the fans and majority of the money that they are making is coming from this particular group they’re going to start making changes because they want you to keep lining their pockets with your cash

7:20 This is exactly my point - The issue with this RIIZE situation is the K-Netizens. Because RIIZE are based in Korea it is like they have the last say when it comes to scandals. They are not concerned about how the idol might be feeling but how they can ruin their image and their entire idol's career. if we take into acc Former SNSD jessica and EXO, majority of SNSD member (2 or 3 members were the main perpetraitor) voted jessica out nd two were most probably influenced, while only 3 (the YN, SH and HYO prob) wanted jessica in, however due to majority vote sica was out. while EXO had better friendship than SNSD, they voted chen to be in. I bet, I 100% bet that RIIZE had this similar meeting regarding whether to keep Seunghan or not, and most probably during the 2nd wave of accusations came. If they voted SH out, we would have gotten a statement about SH Wayyyyyyy earlier. but there hasn't been any statement, I would take this as them voting him in. SM, Center 5, probably is just trying to find a decent time to put him back. I don't want to lose hope and I think other fans shouldn't lose hope either. SM isn't afraid to kick members out, and they easily could've kicked him out during or before/after love 119 success. Yet, there's no statement. There's still hope and to all those SH solo stans, haters that r trying to paint Sungchan as snake and taking things out of portion and making him the villain, FUCK U. SH wouldn't be happy to see his OWN fans that have been defending him is painting one of his dear members as a snake. anyways, instead of hating on the members or SH, the main villain in this story is leakers and haters & Knetz. If SH stans and OT6 & OT7 stans just STFU and sit together and be more open-minded, our fandom would have been so broken and toxic. Ya'll BRIIZE are becoming like Blinks at this point. So my last request, just keep emailing SM, keep making positive posts, comments, tweets and projects for SH and RIIZE. STop hating on each other and nit picking things out of portion. If SM was “looking for a better time” they should’ve added him in a month or so later, not waiting until it gets to the point of people boycotting. I agree with everything else that you said, but the people who only stan 6/7 of them are the issue. There is absolutely NO REASON for people to hate him, especially since “what he has done” is no big deal. This would’ve been an easier road for Riize had people not want to ruin his career and had SM known that he is an artist who also deserves to be protected by their legal team. Filing a complaint and then making HIM suffer shows why it is important to make them know that people support Seunghan months in the future and that he didn’t deserve to be put on hiatus for trivial things.

I don't think you know what a complaint is.... "Filing a complaint" means filing a LAWsuit, which IS "taking legal action." I'm not saying SM didn't treat the 2 situations differently but if SM filed a complaint, they DID, in fact, take legal action on behalf of Seunghan.

Garam was put on hiatus before she was removed she didn't leave she was forced out. Garam had one scandal to and she was removed just like that its multiple for him and the koreans aren't going to change their opinion anytime soon. If people truly wanted him back this should've already taken place when Love 119 came out but it didn't and the comeback was successful. I would love for him to rejoin but its just not happening its so unrealistic @@seokayn
