Ima yap for a second. The trail blazer is an insanely good addition to Sso. I've done everything in the game. (Besides some rep but working on it, I've got all collections done, nearly all achievements. All quests. All my horses are maxed. I've got nothing to do besides grind light. It gets boring after a while, so I'd not log on for days. With the trail blazer added. I find the need to work on rep and other things. If you dont buy Sc all the time, you dont have much to do besides wait. Like yea, I'll ride around and do some races, but that's basically it. So the trail blazer adds in a lot of content for free (besides needing star rider) And alot of players that I've chatted with (new and old) love the Trail. So many new players bought Fsr just for the trails. I can agree on ranks and trails being too much at once, but too much is way better than nothing. There Alot of players I've seen and read complain about not getting like sc in the past, and yea, of course, I'd love to get sc in it. BUT if they do add sc in it, people are gonna complain its not enough, or its to much. Like with the number of codes they released during 2024. We got over 1,500 sc from the beginning to the end of the year, and all i see under the instagram of Sso is Code? When are there codes? Code? Why did they only give X amount? Where are the sc codes? NOW, im not defending Sso because they got some issues with how they ran the game. I can, however, say that the trail blazer was som much needed content to be added. It lasts basically a month, and if you log on each day and just claim the daily exp for it, you can finish it pretty easily and with the bonus exp towards the later weeks. I didn't log on for a week and a half because of some stuff. And i managed to finish it. The prizes are able to be bought after 6 months is pretty good. That's the end of this yap session. I wouldn't mind their frequency if one of two things happened: 1. They only came out with Tracks when there *aren't* any events in-game. That way we have a reason to login for the Track without feeling obligated to do double the "work" to complete both the event and the Track. Or, on the opposite side of that: 2. The Tracks actually felt unique and had individual means of earning points that were ACTUALLY exclusive to an event. Like 'you earn double on all quests done in the Winter Village' 'you earn bonus points for completely the Galloper's Gambit in Halloween' etc. (That would also require them to ramp up the events in general but I digress.) All in all, while I love the Tracks, they feel too frequent and repetitive that I rarely want to complete them (doesn't help that I haven't liked any outfits yet but can't even resell them for a decent amount to want to do more) etc...

Yes and even though I'm slightly overwhelmed the tracks aren't end all be all, Even if you miss all the items, The only thing you're really missing out is stuff like horse xp, shillings, coupons. The clothes and tack will be returning as confirmed by SSO. I think this is fair. As star riders and people who grind the tracks, We get the stuff significantly earlier, for FREE, and also some fun extra bonuses. Those who hate doing them, can simply wait and have to purchase them when they come back.

The ribbon's however stress me out. I just feel like the point gap is WAY too large but than again, I don't think it's designed for casual players. It's a reward system for those who DO take champs seriously and grind them in game.

i like the trailblazer track i think it's very easy to complete as long as you log on daily, i always finish it early lol the clothes they give us in the track has been confirmed to be later sold in game so there's no fear of missing out, and if you can finish the track you can get it for free :D

I totally agree with you! Also as a tip you can gain trailblazer points from collecting the lights in hollow woods so that’s helpful for when I’m trying to finish it and need to grind for it and as a bonus the light can always be sold for shillings so it’s like two birds with one stone lol

i agree!! here's a yapathon: one thing i'm thinking is that if SSO skipped out on the trail of midwinter in December, the uproar in the community about the track frequency wouldn't have come up. A good majority of players really enjoyed the trail of splendor in November, at least from what i had gathered in the community, and i'm guessing its because yes, november was also a slower month and had no events along side the track, so everyone had more time to complete it and focus on that one thing. The problem with the trail of midwinter in december was the fact that it was immediately after the trail from the month before, and coexisted with the Winter Village, champ ranks, and the release of 3 sets of horses within three weeks. Many including myself felt overwhelmed to complete do much within a short period of time - especially around the holidays, the busiest time of the year for families, and for those with jobs - businesses. People had less time to log on, and many missed out on the "bigger" and more "desirable" rewards. This brings me to the earmuffs, in the spoiler, many saw them and many wanted them, and star stable obviously knew that would happen 😭 that's why they put them as the last reward in the track (people would want to log on and spend more time on the game in order to get them). Which was a smart move from SSO, at least from a business standpoint. Until they reintroduced another track for January, which had been in the works since November. IMO, if the January track had been planned since November, the December track should have definitely been skipped, and highly anticipated rewards should have been put in on later dates of the yule tree. The character and horse item sets could've been sold in shops, or released in codes, similar to the first medieval outfit we received for free. If SSO went this route, more could've been focused on in the village, especially cuz almost no one was in there by the end of it (probably bored, or grinding the track in Jorvik), and players wouldn't feel overwhelmed having 3 tracks back-to-back-to-back. Even if this month ends up by being slower, i'm sure many are still exhausted from the winter grind, and would've appreciated a break. But that's just my thoughts 🤷🏻‍♀️ i think going forward the tracks should be every other month, especially when it comes to event timing. For example, the next one should be in march, since we'll have som medieval content this February, and the equestrian festival will be returning again in April! EDIT: i also agree with SSO wanting to make it so players come back, and i think every other month is insanely doable for many many players, and will keep people interested and wanting to log on. Second, I am also a big big big big fan of the stable care coupons, haven't had to care for my horses since the halloween event 🫡

While I do agree that its nice to have the trailblazers fill in the time between events, I also feel like having a break from them now and then would be nice because not everyone can/wants to log on every single day for an entire month to get these prizes. As much as I love Star stable, there are times when I just dont feel like playing for a while or I can't because I have things to do. The trailblazers provide something to do, but I find they eventually start to feel like an obligation more than something to do because its fun. A breather every now and then would be nice.

I get that! I think it’s understandable that some players need a break, but I also think that people take breaks at different times so having it available more often than not is understandable. There is technically no obligation to long on and do the tracks unless it’s something you want to do or has clothes you really want, and it seems like a lot of people including myself do it because of FOMO! I think if it didn’t take as long to complete people wouldn’t be as overwhelmed. Thanks for sharing your thoughts. ❤️

I personally like it bc I can’t afford star coins a lot only for special stuff and am lvl 21 so once I finish my quests and stuff the games gonna be boring so I like it back to back I mean bc even if if ppl can’t log on for that stuff that there problem and if it just overwhelming Maybe they can have a like a button for ppl who don’t want it on there screen I just don’t think it’s fare for ppl who like it and then for ppl to ask for it to be gone and yea it is also beginner friendly so then they can where the good stuff to yk thanks for herein me yapp ❤

This was a really refreshing take. Also! You were correct, the items will be available 6 months later for anyone who missed them :) I believe the items from the first track will be available by the end of this month. Also also, so many games have paid battle passes. They have free ones, too, but they don't usually include the GOOD stuff, ya know? I like how SSO does it where its for ALL Star Riders. Plus like...you can still redeem the rewards if you are using a Free 3 or 7 day Star Rider Code...so. The more you know 🌠

I absoloutely LOVE the trailblazer tracks (imma js call them trails). They make everything in the game more fun tbh. Also you get free stuff which is always great. Also i think it did exactly what sso wanted to achive. That more people play more often. I have heard alot of non star riders complain about not being able to get the prized but honestly... i dont think they understand how they arent supporting the game as much as other players. Obviously sso cant say "you dont give us money so we dont give you stuff back" but really it is that way. Which is super understandable on ssos side. I understand not having the money or not being allowed to buy starrider but thats like demanding to be able to play any game that usually costs money. BUT i think that sso could make it so that at the end of the track (so eighter if someone finishes the track OR a few days before the track leaves) sso gives a code for free starrider for like 2 or 3 days. That way everyone is happy, and those who arent are ungrateful imo (in that hypothetical scenario of giving out a starrider code). About how long the trail stays: personally i finish in 2-3 weeks on two accounts. But also i have saw a youtube video just today of someone saying they only get to like 25 if they actively try. I understand how not everyone has the time for sso so i think 3-4 weeks acually is a good time for it to last.

i love trailblazer track! i havent logged into sso for about 2 weeks during winter village but still managed to complete it just by doing runes in hollows, dailies in winter village and some training now and then. like u literally get points for just playing the game? so i dont have problem with it and the frequency of tracks (cause even if theyre one after another you still play the game normally so whats the difference?). i dont really care about finishing it cause its still free stuff; unless theres a set i really like. the tracks are good addition to the game honestly and especially during events you not only get some free rewars for tokens for example, but also the trailblazer. its not for everyone but can people stop complaining about added content when they had a problem with lack of it?

I don't disagree that the trailblazer itself is/has great content. Also, I've been told other games have something similar to this and that battlepasses are common. Which I understand, like its basically standard practice. But Events should just be better to begin with so that trailblazers don't have to be the content for the event, since a lot of people say events are boring and repetitive too. I also don't like the doubling up of champ ranks and Trailblazer. I would prefer if it they rotated every other month being trailblazer-champs-event-trailblazer, etc. My whole point is that I want time to rest, anticipate, to be excited for the next rotation of something rather than to just have it be a constant thing. Sometimes, it's also ok to just play the game vanilla and not be rewarded for every little thing too. This is probably all rooted in FOMO. The fact that they have items available 6 months after is great, but thats only for the clothes, which I understand most people desire the clothes and tack and I'm sure a lot of kids don't want to wait that long. Like, kids don't have the same impulse control or patience like adults do. As an adult though, I do sort of feel like their approach at least tries to address fomo (such as the medieval area being permanent rather than event limited) It seems my opinion is really unpopular 😅 I think I might make a video on this topic too

I can’t imagine what it’s like to juggle both AND complete them in their entirety! You make a lot of great points, especially about the worth of anticipation and excitement for new content!
