When I saw this collection I literally rolled my eyes.. 😏😏😂 I was like here we go again with another lackluster collection from my use to be fav brand… But Sis you have me about to put some clothes on & head to Walmart! Love the review! I think Mane Choice originally released this line thinking that the natural hair community was gonna hype it up for them but nobody was interested in what they were doing after all the reformulations. They had some ads, but they came out quite a while after they released the collection. You’re the first person I’ve seen actually talk about it.

I also noticed that there wasn’t a lot of buzz about this collection. It’s so unfortunate that these bigger brands are messing with the formulations of products that have become staples in so many people’s hair care regimens, especially when they are the brands/products that are the most accessible!

Then I ordered the TM deep conditioner and it came with silicones even though there was no mention on the website. I lost all faith that day. It’s unfortunate but I don’t think people trust them anymore.

I still use The Mane Choice Products. Although, I have never purchased this collection. I also still love, and support Courtney. Unfortunately, people are saying that she left, and sold her company. Yes she did sell her company. However, she the biggest shareholder/ investor in the company, and she owns other brands as well. Anyhow, thanks for sharing. I enjoyed watching. My Daughter loves this. I'm not sure if it's because she has very wavy hair or not. I want to give them a try, I love anything moisturizing, or to add hydration to my hair. I love a lux Deep conditioner. Another thing I noticed she didn't need to add any buttercream (leave-in) from Aunt Jackie's or their jelly's (curl boss) for styling. She just used the refreshing spray the next day, and the smell is . I have to set-up my hair steamer for this mask.

Great review ! Your curls r popping . Once I’ve use up some of my stash I probably will pick up these products. What styler did you use ? I haven’t really used the mane choose like that. Once they started reforming some of the OG products I didn’t feel a need to try them out. I do have the shampoo and conditioner from their cool aid line and I do like it, but not enough to repurchase.

Over the years I have tried some TMC here and there, but was not very impressed, so I haven't repurchased any products yet. Years ago I tried the original Green tea mask and 3in1 leave in conditioner, then I tried the masks from the 24karate Gold and the tropical moringa line. They were just okay. I also tried the tropical moringa glaze when everyone was talking about it(too sticky). Last year I went to a curly hair stylist and she styled my hair with the 4leaf clover styler. I liked the result, it held my hair better than I expected, so last black friday I decided to try some more products that overall have positive reviews, the Cheers Gelato GEL and the Peach black tea mask. LOVED the wash and go I got with the gel. (So that might be a repurchase in the future). Still have to try the mask. Based on your review I might buy this mask this BF.

I love the glaze, it is definitely sticky but I use an oil on top and that helps with the stickiness. I also love the peach black tea mask and the entire cheers line but I’ve heard that those formulas have been messed with too 😩 so I probably won’t repurchase once I run out of my stash. Courtney left and y'all left too...😂😂. I like their gels, the Tropical Moringa line and the Exotic Cool-laid line. I still want to try the Do it for the Fro line, I heard some good things about that one. It seems to be highly underrated and below the radar. I never got the hype with the Alpha line, maybe I tried it after the reformulation. Idk, it's hard to keep up. Lol. I just can't with any of their leave-ins though. The leave in needs to be a great leave in and stop trying to be every other wash day product. The suds come from being able to use their leave-ins "172 ways" as Denise Adore says. Lol. They are terrible in my opinion.
