Loved the video! I think Collectif was my first vintage-inspired brand that I've heard of - I think it's most famous around vintage community. I'd add to the list: What Katie Did (the brand is focused on ligerie and shapewear but it gives similiar vibe to those you've mentioned), Emmy Design and maybe The House of Foxy. Although some pieces might be practical to buy but I really want to focus on better quality, small brands and true-vintage desgins

Thanks so much for putting the effort into creating and sharing this video! I am so glad to hear you speak to the environmental and social ethics of production and materials for each brand. I'm 2 years into building a 30s-inspired wardrobe for men [man] and it's sooooo slow-going. Most items I've acquired so far are from ebay-so it's neat that they're originals, but far too rarely do [affordable] items that I want even appear for sale! So I'm considering this new route, though I get the feeling that it'll still be a bit of a challenge finding much in the men's department. Thanks again for posting this-the timing is great for me!

Hi Pepper! I'm so glad you found the video helpful! I'm going to cover more brands in my next video that offer more men's clothing options so hopefully, that will help. Menswear isn't my forte but if you're into 30s style I'd recommend Dandy Wellington's KZbin channel and IG for more info on building one's style, particularly on a budget. I'm assuming you know who Dandy Wellington is because he's a #vintagestyleicon but just in case I'll link his channel here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/eHLHgoalfpafhK8

Simple retro has some adorable dresses, but I'm not sure about the quality...
