Clarifiers work really well for ponds. I use it in my koi pond about once a week. Whenever water gets a little less clear due to algae or particulates it does a good job of clumping it together and filtering it out. My filter clogs twice as fast when using it so def works well.

All you need is an Unscripted Aquarium Clarifier (UAC) and 50% weekly water change. UAC evens removes green water algae. No need for any filter devices, Poly-Fil, filter polishing pads, UV sanitizer, hydrogen peroxide, carbon activated sponges, or Purigen, etc…😊 Save yourself the eye sores, time, and $$$ in the long run.😊

I never used the liquid clarifiers for general particulates, but do use polyester batting material for fine filtration. If the cloudy water is from a bacterial bloom, in the aquarium, definitely found the best thing to do is just leave it and give more time, for the bacteria to catch up. Good video.

The only water clarifier Id ever use is benzonite clay, montmorilonite clay…koi clay. Leave that stuff in the tank, it’s great for fish

water clarifier’s works good for big ponds that pollen and junk falls in all the time but in aquariums it’s usually just unnecessary from my experience at least

Oh man, I remember cleaning my 55g every single day when I first started out. It just wasn't getting any bacteria started and I didn't understand why my tank would not clear up. Lesson learned

Can you put too much? To where it makes the water cloudy
@DanHiteshew-oneandonly4 ай бұрын
Not sure about that, but over-dosing it may be harmful to fish and inverts.
