Let's talk private well fees 🚰

It may cost a lot to drill and maintain wells... but charging private well users $100 a year isn't even covering the basic water quality tests they need! Commercial wells have a steep capital cost to drill, then pure Memphis Sand Aquifer water is FREE to create their products for the 30-40 year lifespan of the well.
A small fee would incentivize these companies to conserve and support groundwater management programs. As far as residential wells - they should get water quality testing FREE!
