I think skinny jeans are still popular for some people but depending on their body shape may not be the most flattering style and give an unbalanced proportion. I believe a straight style is a good look for most people.

I agree!!!! I love skinny jeans and they will not be removed from my wardrobe. At 71 and 4’9”, skinnies allow me much more versatility and creativity in my styling options. They look awesome dressed up or down and I find they can transition from day to evening with some simple and subtle tweaking. I hate the “mom/boyfriend” jeans as they look aging on me. The trendy barrel jeans just leave me wondering “What the…??!!” Looking bow legged is not a look I am aiming for. Great video!!!!

Nice video & topic! I think the idea that cuts of jeans should be abandoned as other styles start trending is misguided. I really believe each person should try on various styles of jeans across their life & wear what works for them & their body (& sure the times if they care) & hopefully have more than one style they like to rock, including skinny jeans. I love ALL the points you made about skinny jeans, & so many of the images you showed toward the end showed elevated ways of wearing them that don't look cheap or too pedestrian at all. You certainly rock them well! Jeans shouldn't feel stressful or too fadlike to me & really work with the body of the wearer, & I also think they can be fun! If flares are back & you wanna give them a go, check it out! If you wanna wear cropped length & see how it feels & looks on you, do you! But I think making grand sweeping statements about jeans cuts being extinct is just a wild approach hahaha so loved this video! ♥

Thanks for this video! I was thinking that SJ's were on their way out, but you have shown they are still in fashion. I love a SJ with a boot in the fall and winter. I have a love/hate. I'm tall, not that curvy so I struggle with the right fit. After the video, I won't rule them out. I am finding that the barrel jeans make me look wide in the waist and SJ hug me to show off little bit of curve that I have. Thank you!

At the present state of my body, wearing skinny jeans is not flattering to my voluptuous body. At least,I don't feel comfortable in them.Since I don't believe that anyone who doesn't feel confident about a trend should wear what does. I feel fashionable in a wider leg jean that I carefully choose to disguise my humps,lumps and bumps. If I wore skinny,I certainly would wear a longer top. As a curvy short girlie…I still haven’t figured out wide leg jeans so I didn’t ever give up my skinny jeans. I would rather be behind on the trends than look frumpy or spend extra money having to get the waist taken in on no stretch jeans that I have to go up on the size for the hips
