In this video we test the bankline that I got from Madison from Bombproof Bushcraft. We do a pull test on #9, #36 and #96 bankline just to see if we can break it and to see how it reacts when it breaks.

Thanks for the test and info 👍🏻 Quite interesting the difference, I do like the size of bank line over Paracord but the deciding factor is what the task at hand is. Have a good week Dave

Glad you enjoyed it! But you're absolutely right, it boils down to what you're going to use it for. Thanks for watching

Thanks for the info! I was thinking of making lengths of Paracord available in unique ways to store, but maybe I'll do bank line! Take care! 🇺🇸👍🏻

@@CentralKyBushcraft you are very welcome. I have never used bank line before, only paracord and braided mason line.

@@jeffjackson5331 I've always carried it but only used it for light duty task until I started watching Corporal's Corner build complete shelters (some of them elevated) with it without issue. What surprised me the most was that it held up without using more than what you would have used paracord.

@@CentralKyBushcraft cool! I see alot of folks using it in their videos too. I always had the idea that paracord was the best but i am learning that that isn't always the case. Very interesting!

I agree #9 should make great limb lines

It reminds me a lot of Kevlar line. Hopefully I'll get a chance to try it. Thanks for watching

i am usually a paracord kind of guy but have some bankline that i need to play with

I was the same way until I got to watching Corporal's Corner. He uses bankline more than he does paracord. And it holds up! That caused me to rethink bankline. Thanks for watching

What is the advantage of bankline over paracord? Cost?
@CentralKyBushcraft2 жыл бұрын
The cost to amount you get is one thing. But the amount of space it takes up is the biggest for me. The small roll of bankline holds 122 ft and takes up about the same space as a 50 ft hank of paracord. As for the price difference, that roll of bankline goes for about $4 here. Which is about a $1 less than a 50 ft hank of paracord here. Hope that helps and thanks for watching

@@CentralKyBushcraft Hey CKYB! I do need to let folks know that the cost of cordage (both bank line and 550 cord has gone up). It is the unfortunate result of the current economy. I think that the prices I have are still very competitive and still lower than other top branded sites. Thanks for the shout out. I look forward to seeing the projects you make with the bankline. If you need anything else give me a holler. Take care!
