Nice looking easy pattern ! I always tied the Franke shiner with good success. Definitely going to try these, even try some with yellow sides and green back for an alewife pattern- should be a killer on hybrid stripers!

Great tie and a useful streamer to have in anyone’s personal collection as this is a great multi-species streamer and will take just about any warm water game fish and larger predatory trout like browns and steelhead. Glad to see another tying lesson go up on the Mad River Outfitter channel, and especially one that was very well done, and also took the time to show a variation on the pattern witch made it more his own and explained why he does it and had a great technique for tying in slippery synthetic materials. Good job guys, hoping to see more tying tutorials to go up alongside of the amazing lessons we have been given regarding Leaders and casting. Brian has helped me personally work my way through my fly fishing journey, and it would be awesome if you guys could assist those of us that enjoy tying as much as we enjoy the technique videos or the fishing Q&A videos.

Tied some flies like this last night. Been seeing similar patterns to this with large holographic eyes on steelhead groups on Facebook. I'm using crystal hair fibers, in white and emerald green. I like this tie better than the EP Minnow pattern method I was using.
