We live in Washington state in a mobile home park and have very little room. However I grow in pots exclusively since the landlady will not allow in ground. I love watching you wanda and danny working on the homestead and at pecan grove. My favorite is the high tunnels. Its a pleasure to watch your continuing videos. Thank you for being you.

Everything looks fantastic. If you don't put a heater in the greenhouse where the bananas are. Wrap the trunk of the bananas. The trunk of the bananas is full 9f water. You can lose the big leaves. They will grow back. I am in North Florida. I have saved my bananas for three years in a row. This year I finally got bananas to eat this year. Last year and this year I was feeding my bananas with food scraps and they have been getting double the water they normally get. I have always been told that for bananas to produce, they need lots of food and water.

Wanda, maybe you should move some of the lemon grass to one of the high tunnels and hope they make it. Suppose to be a really harsh winter. Even in the south. Thats what the Farmers Almanac is telling everyone. So are the Persimmon, the Wooly Bear caterpillar and a couple other critters. Suppose to be some long freezing even in Florida. I hope all goes well and will be sending some prayers your way to keep your crops going. I need to send y'all a picture of the sugar cane here and how they harvest. It is an amazing feat too. It is a perennial so they dont have to replant unless an insect gets in it. Sad to say, I think it is sprayed with roundup. But the bugs are horrible here. Anyway, here's me rambling again. Have a lovely day. God is always with us.
@OnlyNaturally2 жыл бұрын
You have created an amazing place there. Thank you for sharing with all of us! We're currently in central AZ, zone 9b, and have grown moringa, and as soon as you put them in the ground, they take off like a rocket! Here, they are cut them way back every year, in Jan or February, and sometimes they are lost to a hard frost, but are easy to replace. I ended up tearing mine out this spring, because I didn't want to deal with all of the pods, and I planted fruit bearing trees instead!
