You should do one of the fields closer to the farm as grass as it won't require for you to haul machinery a long way. I think the arable field by the sheep farm as you'll be buying another field soon.

For ppl wandering about the stutter after an update, changing settings. The game is building the shaders for the map. I saw first time players crying about it the first time they booted the game up. Its normal. Travel around the map a bit give it a little bit and it will be smooth again

But it is the same for me one day after the update, played for an hour the day of the Update, and it stuttered alot, but Got smoother, today but gets smoother once i have played for a bit. Is that normal?

@@SkinLezZ1 Yes its normal. The engine will build shaders for the areas you are in. When you go to a new area you havent been to since the change it will then build those shaders. The game builds the shaders as you encounter the area for the first time. If you change resolution or some other graphics settings you will have to rebuild the shaders again.

I think buying the BGA should be your next big goal, it only cost £1,500,000. Wich would also make it much easier to fertilize the big field, since you'll be producing digestate right next to it.

Agree with other comments, get the fish farm mod! You'll need the empty pallet creating mod as well but that gives you more of a purpose for your wood!

I live in the US and I grew up on a farm, and those types of rakes are called twin basket rakes. There are also single basket rakes with either left side delivery (more common) and right side delivery (less common).

In Australia we call it a roll-a-bar rake

In Canada and the US we call it a bar rake (rake is a not pto powered windrower unit) the type of rakes are wheel and bar which is powered by the wheels. A rake is also cheaper than a pto powered windrower. The pros of rakes is that irl they are easier to fix and you can use them on anything (unless the rake requires hydraulics) and how cheap also. They are also low hp. The cons are they are less efficient on hilly ground or for low amounts of hay. There also isn't many new ones

Robot cow shed: When the robot cycles, the supply is reduced and food levels increased immediately. The robot then goes through the motions, but it's really a cosmetic thing, as the math work is already done.

I was excited to see Vermeer finally added to fs. I worked for Vermeer manufacturing for a few years as a painter mostly in there underground department but I did however paint a few rakes and bailer. Fun fact according to Vermeer, Gary Vermeer the founder invented the first round bailer.

True fact about that rake it dosent have a pto hook up it’s just free floating bearings and when it hits the grass it makes it spin which in return moves it all to the center my grandpa owed one when I was a kid except it only had one and it was off set to the one side

Hey Daggerwin, I agree, although the machine is amazing, round bales can be a pain but I found with the recent bale trailer on the mod hub, it makes moving round bales around much easier, as the supports the trailer has, stops round bales from rolling and shifting around.

I think it would be a good idea to connect field 41 & 42 and make that grass and put the track through to the other yard back where it originally would have been between field 40 & 41

Id say field by the sugar factory made into a grass field since the animals and silage pit is there to save so much carting. Something along the lines of the krone big m could be good to get for this map too. See about getting a diesel production somewhere and use the canola to supply that aswell as making canola oil. Shame its stopping at 200 episodes, id watch this and survival challenge every day 👍

Hello. You missed a couple of features from the mower and the rake. The angle of the dangle for the mower can be changed and the width of the row can be adjusted on the rake. With the amount of grass you fail to pick up with the bailer, use the narrow row setting.

That style of rake is quite old and was mostly used when rotary rakes were too expensive

Those offset mowers should be able to pivot to the left side of the tractor as well. That way you don’t have to run through the uncut hay and just make laps.

Buy a slurry tanker. Build a slurry storage at the big field. Then buy one more field at the big field. Then you have the slurry where you need it.

So that bright yellow thing in my area would be called a windrower because it rolls the grass kind of like cigars versus the side spinning cylinders would be being called a rake because it just moves it into a pile.

Those rakes are called a roller bar hay rake best rake for heavy crops again like rotary rakes you can get the in a single version the started making them in 1870 I believe but I may be wrong.

Or a baler/trailer combo - that would change the game; if you could bale and it autostacks onto a trailer towed behind the machine - that would be a reason to get a self-propelled one. Ideally, baler/wrapper/trailer combo - then could justify it being expensive.

The only good thing about round bales are the automatic bale wrappers. This self propelled baler has nothing on the viacon fast bale. I think this whole pack is a definite pass for me.
