Lol saw Black Rose Wars and had to see what Tim was up to. BRWR has hit the top of my favorite games. I really enjoy it. I really like the North Winds expansion that allows you to transform into a bear and fight Odin. I had to go back and get the original BRW and the Sator cards so that I have all the schools of magic which is for me where the interesting variety comes from. I am surprised at how little creator content there is out there for BRWR and most of it that is out there is played wrong (or perhaps with prototype rules or just assuming the original BRW rules is how it plays).

HAHA! That’s awesome to hear and thanks for the tip bc I didn’t even know it was backwards compatible! Shoot… does this mean I’ll need to get the Sator cards 🤔🤔🤔 I totally agree! It’s really underrated and I’d love to update some of the gameplay coverage for this later, but I definitely don’t blame anyone with the rules being very arbitrary at times

@TimChuon BRWR is indeed compatible with the original BRW. LMS has an article about the few adjustments required. Getting ahold of the original content might be difficult. BRW itself can be found on Ares games site, which is the retailer LMS used. The Sator cards by themselves I bought from LMS direct but they appear to be out of stock. There is so much content. I have all the NAR crossover content. Medicio, Hyperion, etc. Requiem also has several cross over pieces coming as well.

That Pirate Gold stuff looks so nice! Cardistry is fun! I didn't know it was called that but I learned some stuff back when I learned some magician stuff. I'm super out of practice now though.

I stumbled onto a top 10 pirates themed games video at the beginning of the year and have had the itch to acquire and play some pirate games. Pirates of Maracaibo is on my radar to get eventually but two games I have gotten that really give you that pirate feelin is Forgotten Waters (2-7 players, app support, cooperative-ish) and Sea of Legends (1-5 player, app support, "coopetitive" as one content creator coined lol). Both really give you those "I'm playing a PIRATE!" vibe and are funny while also feeling very different from each other in how they play. But I was quite literally thinking this past week how I want some upgraded components (ie dabbloons!) for these pirate games I have now and now you have shown me something I will undoubtedly be buying in my future. As always thank you Tim for the fantastic share. Also I have been curious about black rose War, destinies, and divinus but know nothing about them, will you do any content videos of that or any of these games?

Interesting video, Tim. After watching this video and your recent "I Played EVERY Board Game in my Collection" video, I noticed some games in this video were in your shelf showcase video, such as the Dog Park New Tricks Expansion and the Wyrmspan deluxe components, But I'm not sure they were the exact same as the ones from the packages in this video because of the visuals of the packaging. And some things were missing in the previous video when you were showing your collection, such as the Destinies package, Slay the Spire, or Cytosis. Which begs the question that maybe you actually filmed this video before the collection showcase video? Or if not, and you actually filmed this unboxing video after the collection showcase video, did you actually accidentally purchase duplicate items, such as the Dog Park New Tricks expansion, and the Wyrmspan deluxe components?

Loving the hair style in this episode of wolf pack Wednesday! First three games look great! How often do you get a solo session in? Love the theme of Dog Park, I wish it were easier to see more of the dog cards each game.

Hahah thank you! Not sure what I’m doing it with it yet but keeping it long for now! 🤣 Lately like 3 times a week just bc I was trying to make it through the collection but usually 1 every 2 weeks! Oh 100%, the river def doesn’t come out as often-curious to know what the expansion adds! 🐶

I believe the board game clips are slotted onto the side of your game board to keep it flat 😉
