You can actually mod it to take real Mega Drive cartridges, since it actually uses a Mega Drive on a chip.

I actually loved those kind of controllers. Whenever we bought a bootleg console we always aimed for the genesis controllers. That C (a+b) really helped Contra, Kunio Kun & numerous other games. So i feel extremely nostalgic whenever i see these controllers.

The way you pronounce ryu is exactly how I do. I’m glad of that. I hear a lot of people pronounce like Reee you. I’ve always pronounced it like rye you. I actually watched a translation video on it and the Japanese language pronounces it like Dew. Just my little rant guys! Ty

I use white vinegar to clean battery corrosion. It neutralizes it instantly, so you don't have to worry about leaving destructive residue.

Alkaline acid can be burned away with alcohol. I usually use 90% alcohol against battery acid and it burns away rather quickly.

@Code7Unltd I've used that method before, and I've gotten it to somewhat work on minor white corrosion. However, with the hard blue corrosion on the springs, white vinegar is the only way to completely eliminate it. I use vinegar on car battery corrosion as well. It removes on contact, with little to no scrubbing.

Nothing like playing Street Fighter with a good 6 button controller. I hate using cheap PS2 knockoff controllers and having to use shoulder buttons.

I made a RetroPie build for my pi3b that has all the arcade street fighter games and all 6 button fighting games. All I need to get are replica USB Sega Genesis 6 button controllers. The build also has X-Men vs street fighter, marvel super heroes vs street fighter, marvel vs Capcom, marvel super heroes, X-Men children of the atom, the street fighter alpha games, the street fighter 3 games, and all the dark stalkers games too

Vinegar baking soda water mixture is great removing corrosion with cotton swabs and after that some alcohol to get rid of the water.

I've got two of these, and they're really cool. Apparently they are hackable with an edge connector to turn them into "real" Mega Drives. I'm leaving mine intact though. :)

Your right it would be cool if these mini consoles could play the arcade versions of the fighters with a Saturn or Genesis 6 button pad That’s what I did with my Sega Genesis Classic edition / mini , I put hakchi on it , overclocked the cpu to 1.34444….. ghz and put some mame , cps 1, cps 2 , cps 3 emulators on it and can play x men vs street fighter or street fighter zero 3 at ease with the Sega Genesis retrobit 8 button usb pads

Oh my God, that thing is laboriously slow. Is that what SF2SC plays like in PAL without any stars on or the normal setting? I would have to at least pump it up one star, or it would drive me crazy. Your second match, Bison vs. Ken seems to be moving at our normal pace. Ghouls n' Ghosts moves flawlessly. That plays, sounds, and moves just like our NTSC-U version here.

I was curious to see if you were going to mention at the beginning of this game that you have the only version that has two white guys knocking each other out in the beginning title screen instead of a white guy knocking out a black guy. I played these before at Toys r Us over 20 years ago I set it up myself on a display TV and saw the opening scene was changed
