I think what I don't like about this product is that you can see the shiny backing. You don't get that with the rub ons. But I love that red card! 💛😊

Oh Natasha, I did good there! But for us other humble card makers it’s good to see that mishaps befall every one, even our beloved Natasha. But it’s the overcoming of these mishaps, that’s where the creativity really shows! Love this card!!❤❤❤

I love these "oh-no-moments" in videos because I know there is a problem I am all too familiar with and here I get the solution.🤗 I actually remember these kind of transfers from the early 1970s, they were meant for decorating easter eggs, but weren't that easy to put on, because you had to soak them in water till the picture came off from the backing paper and was all just some crumpled piece of thin plastic foil, which you had to straighten out on the object you wanted to decorate. These apparently have some backing that is easier to remove and does not need to be soaked. Very neat!

I think one lesson learned here is that sometimes less is more, the card looked perfect and then you tried to improve on perfection lol, I am glad that you were able to save it, I have lost count of the times I have covered mistakes with something else. My most common is to get dye on my finger and then touch the card and leave a smear!!

Beautiful card! On camera, I thought your splatter actually looked cool, but I do love watching you turn a 'mistake' into a lovely card. As you say, "There's always a way." Thanks for another fun video.

I bought quite a few of these transfers a while ago but haven’t been quite game to try them yet. I will now cos it looks so easy when you explain it & show us how! Any more videos using these transfers would be great! Thanks, Natasha!

I love that little card and had a giggle while you were having a think! We have all been there haven’t we. Thanks so much for the info about the differences. As ever, your creativity never ceases to amaze me. I would never think of chopping the original into little pieces but it’s a great result.

Thanks for explaining the difference between the transfers and rub-on’s sometimes it can be so confusing. Great save on the card. I was working on a small picture album and made a mistake and thought I would have to start over, then my brain kicked in. All I had to do was cut piece of card stock glue over the mistake and use a rub-on and I was good to go. 🥰💕

It’s always amazing to me how we card makers can rectify little mistakes!! I always like adding a coordinating image or paper inside, but this change in plans to cover up the splatters is worth using the rose here and not inside. A very nice card, Natasha…you give so many good ideas every time! Thanks!

I love the design of the card, the colors, everything. My only problem with these type of products is the shiny backing of the images on the matte paper to me looks weird. The same with the PET tapes, even if they are so popular these days. I don't mind the images themselves being shiny, that looks really good and makes the card nearly professional looking so I would love to use these but only if they would come pre-cut, closely following the outline of the image.

These are called water slides. They have been around forever. Mainly used for pottery and ceramics. So now they're doing a crossover to paper crafting.
