My husband was born in Wales UK. He met a Sardinian, who was training to be a chef, Paolo invited him to come to meet his Family, well they all welcomed him, and he ended up being part of the Family❤ Paolo and his wife had a young child at the time. My hubby had many holidays there, and enjoyed Sardinia alot. They even wanted him to live there. When my hubby's mother passed, Paolo flew to Cardiff to be with my hubby. Hubby immigrated here to Australia, met me, the girl next door, and we have been married for 49 years, and have 2 girls, 3 boys and 2 grandsons, plus a son in law. We had plans to go and visit Sardinia, but the govt lies of covid stopped that, as our investment, went down, so sadly could not go. Tragically our dear friend Paolo passed in 2021😢. My hubby is Godfather to their youngest Son, who is named after my hubby, Terry. We do plan on going, and are very determined to do so❤ Beautiful place❤

They aren't alleys, they really are streets. Anything named "via" is a street. I lived in Assemini in the late 80s, Sardinia is amazing. Neat fact, genetically, Sardinians are some of the most ancient Europeans along with the Basques.
