They nerfed Ratchet hard so Jak would stand a chance. If they let Ratchet have his entire arsenal, it'd be over in 0.7 seconds. All Ratchet would have to do is throw the Groovitron or use the Black Sheepinater/Qwack-o-Ray, which both ignore durability, defense, etc. And that's being fair. If they gave Ratchet guns like the Zodiac, Rynocirator, Rift Ripper, etc. Jak would RIP

1.) I'm pretty sure the Death Battles last longer in universe then in real time. 2.) R&C survived an explosion that blew up their ship, so there's a durability feat they mentioned. 3.) Daxter was on Jak's shoulder during the light and dark forms after the missile and froze with him. 4.) I think Clank can stop and start time at will (guess, haven't played).

Actually, the Groovitron works on ALL enemies. Even Boss Battles. every single enemy in the game has a unique dancing animation. Edit: Oh, and Daxter was on Jak's shoulder when they were frozen.

so too add a bit of data to the fight: yes, they didn't use dark daxter, but they didn't use alpha/giant clank either. they also didn't went into the spy training clank underwent, as well as the fact that he can use all of ratchet's weapons as well. they also didn't go into armor. while i'm not sure how strong jacks armor of maar really is, ratchet's strongest armor has a damage reduction of 96% of ALL incoming damage. finally, yes the groovitron can make ANYONE dance, and yes, it can be used during boss battles, so there's another way to deal with dark jack's invulnerability, or pretty much any other attack/form. yeah, i'd say they finally got one battle right this time. took them only about ... what? four battles by now i think?

Oh, regarding the Voice Actors: Normally the VA are contracted to only voice their characters for said company - never anywhere else. Death Battle actually got some big names at times - but only for characters they never voiced before. The only exception I know of is Yang, since...well, that was Rooster Teeths production

To be fair, they have gotten a wide variety of people to help out over the years. First the "TeamFourStar" guys: Lanipator, Takahata101, MasakoX and Kirbopher to name a few) They also have had Xander Mobus (Best known as the Smash 4 announcer) who has been Lion-O, Robocop, Wolverine, and all forms of Agumon) Then we get into the more higher end VAs from Funimation such as Christopher Sabat who was Snake, Tia Ballard who was Tifa, Chuck Huber who played Iron Man, Todd Habberkorn who was Tai, and finally Marissa Lenti as Bayonetta (with the addition of Dawn Bennett as Jeanne). Then of course there is also Yang's VA being the one to "reprise her role," but overall, there has been a rather wide variety of VAs that have helped Death Battle.

+Ris Grestar Unless they decide to pull off another One Minute Melee to a Death Battle, they did do that with Hercule Satan and Dan Hibiki, there's a possibility of Sonic Vs. The Flash, they did a One Minute Melee as well. Since it's a battle of Speed, since Sonic already did a Death Battle against Mario, this seems unlikely, but possible. However another character I'm giving a possible combatant is Quicksilver. Since they've done a few Marvel Vs. DC Death Battles Spiderman Vs. Batman Batman Vs. Captain America Deadpool Vs. Deathstroke Rogue Vs. Wonder Woman Iron Man Vs. Lex Luthor and of course Green Arrow Vs. Hawkeye. So its possible it could be The Flash Vs. Quicksilver.

Yang Wright A lot of details about both Toph and Gaara were over looked or simply ignored. These aren't hidden details either, anyone who watched the shows would know them. I don't have time to get into all of them, but one quick example is Gaara's ability to substitute which allows him to escape killing blows.

I think Jak's Eco defenses are really more powerful, heal, immunity, shields, all this good stuff. BUT he can only activate one at a time, while Ratchet's Nanothing is active permanently. Jak ALSO uses Eco to attack, his Gravity reverser thingy uses Dark Eco, so he can't activate a one minute immunity. His Light Eco's healing factor apply during Time Stop, so this take more one minute away due Clank's ability. I don't know how it works, but Green ones are the only one that can be viable to use properly in this one minute scenario.

I believe Dark Jak wears off after a single Dark Blast, meaning they should have lost the Dark form and the battle a bit quicker. Actually as some one who has played none of the Rachet and Clank games and 123 of the Jak games I originally though Rachet and Clank have been the winners because i though they had a larger arsenal of weapons, but after watching i realised rachet actually has a smaller arsenal of weapons Jak has 1 gun with 4 ammo type and 3 modes for each ammo type effectively 12 guns. Daxter had his own game in between Jak and Daxter and Jak 2 where he was a mercenary he had a gun, im sure he could have done more but I havent played that one but he did have solo missions in either Jak 2 or both Jak 2 and 3 he can definitely fight things on an equal size scale to him self. Lastly he can interact with eco in the enviroment but he only holds light and dark eco but his stores of eco have nothing to do with his ammo any one who plays Jak 2 or Jak 3 knows you use Jaks yellow blaster the most with the yellow bullets but they arent used at all in this they went with the 1 nuke missile which no one even uses too impractical for how much enemies can be in your area at the same time also you would have access to more than one nuke. It just seems they went though more trouble to show rachets wepons than Jaks but I was always sure that Jak had a smaller following of gamers anyway so i can understand why they would do that. from the moment dark Jak was used unless and maybe even if it was right at the beginning Rachet and clank wouldnt have had been able to witstand that . IDK how they measure nanobots but they didnt look like they were replenishing them.

i think i get it now but i might be wrong. the whole fight, Jak was using eco for everything. his gun, his powers and his forms. he's draining his only means of attack and defense. but Ratchet had nanobots to heal and defend him and has a ton of weapons to keep attacking. i guess that's why he won

So he could use one gun untill its empty, but then hed lose all of that eco type! Whereas ratchet, he just will switch to one of his many many other guns XD Glad sombody else sees it :D

They said he has about a minute of each, which I guess also depends on how muchhe is using it...and only the Green Eco heals. But it's also necessary for shields, which he did use to block attacks, so he was basically using green Eco nonstop until reaching his Dark Form. Basically he had little fuel to run on, unless he runs around colelcting more, whoch he couldn't in the middle of the battle.

Honestly ratchet also had a black hole launcher so if he lost I'd have been very surprised x) Also I'm playing ratchet & clank 3 right now and honestly his arsenal is absurdely op, not only can he resist tons of hits from things like missile designed to destroy ships, he also have things like mind controling bioweapon, or life sucking shields (transforming opponents life force into nanotech while protecting from hits), but he also gets a lot of manuveuring tools, like boots that stick to metal, boots allowing him to dash forward at insane speed, or unlimited oxygen under water with a good speed because of clank. So yeah I don't see jak winning. too much going for ratchet.

I just didn't like how they made Daxter seem pretty useless as a companion. In his solo game, he had some weapons that they could have included. It might not have changed the results, but it would've SOUNDED more evenly matched, since Clank is such an important part of Ratchet's arsenal.
