Such a great set! It has a very Canadian feel to me as well, or could be European too. The beavers are simply adorable. I love the fact that the squirrel's habitat is much bigger than some of the houses I built for minidolls when I was younger. 😂 Can't wait to see the next part! ~Wavey ;)

Hey Ellie! Believe it or not, the lift-lid (if I remember correctly 50 years later!) was a thing for random Lego-pieces Sets. The dedicated single-build sets in the '70's had the side-open boxes (without interior bags.) Oh, thank you for making me feel old!😂 But, all is forgiven for all the adorable critters!❤❤❤❤❤ Well done!💕 And, yup! Welcome to Canada, eh? (I was in grade 3 when Gordon Corman's 1st books came out. I still have my Scholastic books from the '70's. (Hi! My name is Jack!😂)

And, for exactness, though it doesn't diminish your recollection (I had to dig out my '79 Scholastic copy of "This Can't Be Happening at MacDonald Hall" to confirm this -- he wrote it when he was 13. --I thought he was 14.😂) And he'd written 2 more books before graduating high-school in Thornhill, Ontario; an hour's drive from me!

Zip line party time, whut whut!? I'm so sorry (not sorry), every one of these is going to be filled with Camp Fam nonsense from me 😂 just throw some dinosaur's into it, and you've got Camp Cretaceous. Paisley's dad looks like Dave (Camp Fam Counsellor) and Jamila??? Roxy (lead Camp Fam Counsellor) is voiced by Jameela Jamil, this is too real 😂 I'm completely normal about all this. Ok ok focus, there's Lego here. Ollie and Leo's alternate faces are perfection?! And Bill & Ted are hilarious. What a fun set! Aliya is 100% in Sparrow Scout mode and Ollie 100% raided Liann's backpack (legitimately thought you were putting her together, too!). Can you imagine if we had these school holiday camps in Australia? River? That's bullshark territory. Tree hole? That's not an adorable squirrel, that the snake pit. Mushrooms? Yeah, no, we don't talk about the mushrooms. It's probably why all our school camps were in June-August, before it gets hot enough for the wildlife to get active and the temperatures to climb to nuclear levels.

Oooh yay you got it! You and me both re the late, we only started playing these past school hols. Isn’t it beautiful! Same I worry about the plants being watered - we just managed to craft a bunch of sprinklers to help so Marty and I can now boop the animals first thing (because we wuv them they’re adorable), and adventure in town sooner. Understandable re camp fam! Marty was late to the dinosaur party (he was aaaalll about dragons - which is how we found you, when he was 4 - Lego elves dragons!), so when he got into dinosaurs at 8 or so, Camp fam was well timed, and a surprise, character development and messaging wise (let’s leave things better than when we found them, etc).
