It has been very hard to get freight OUT of Florida for many years. I live about 1.5 hours north of Port St.Lucie (pronounced like Lucy) I work privately with handicap mobility equipment including scooters, power wheelchairs and electric lifts and get the nicest equipment out of "PSL" as we call it. Wish I'd known you were traveling by - I would have met you for lunch somewhere!

Love that helmet cam view that’s pretty cool to see how you strap it down. I’m hoping you end up October pretty good considering we only have two months left for the year and I’m not sure if you said you try to stay in the south during the winter time, or do you go up north as well?

Thank you! The helmet cam can be tricky. You have to angle it correctly and I don’t always do that. Then you have to remember to not move your head certain ways. lol. I pretty much go everywhere in the winter but I certainly try to avoid the really snowy areas.

Quit bitching about what your not getting and shitting on others success. If y’all will come out that negative mindset you’ll progress well! Please tell the truth, it’s not easy if you don’t have connections, if you relied only on dispatchers it’s going to be very very hard to start a business because they don’t want to give you loads
@Mr.AlexKogan

My only connection is my dispatcher. I have no other connections. When I first started with new authority I was turned down by many brokers but there are plenty that will work with you too. @@Mr.AlexKogan I didn’t say you lied, just the truth about starting on this business now you did said the real one it is very hard at the beginning brokers don’t give loads to new owner operators they require a minimum two years, and if they don’t have money save they will fail, I have been doing this for way too long and I have seen many many guys loosing their trucks and trailers

@@luich2275 I never said it was easy getting started. I didn’t even make any videos about getting started in this business. Most brokers require 6 months minimum authority and a few want one year. Never heard of two year minimum. That way no one would succeed in this business. When I first started I thought it was going to be bad but I honestly was doing good in the beginning. Yes I got turned down by many brokers but a lot were willing to work with me too. I was doing $5k average per week my first 6 months. Believe it or not and when a load is posted on the board, you better be the first one to call because if you don’t, someone else will snatch it up real quick.

@@Mr.AlexKogan Have you by chance heard of or seen the Trailer-aide blocks? - Worth their weight in gold IMHO. I don't see why they wouldn't work for your trailer to raise the axle/tires off the ground to change a flat. Also a GOOD cordless impact should work to remove & install the lugs.

@@Mr.AlexKogan I linked the Trailer-Aide block yesterday but I guess KZbin didn't like it and removed it. Just Google "Trailer-Aide" and it should come up, They have 2 different sizes, I'd recommend the taller one.
