I cried my eyes out at the INA segment re-creating Go-Gal with vocaloid technology, I could only imagine what he must've been going through during that time. Even still today, hide is in their hearts and minds. He will be in mine now, too. Thank you!

I say this with no pretentious intent. 2010, May, I discovered X. Saw this cool guitarist after being touched by the two members hugging at the beginning of their song. Forever Love. Then after Endless Rain of the Last Live I looked up the history of the band. Without warning or explanation I started crying from what just read. "He died?" I said. "I don't even know this man, why am I crying for him?" After seeing this entire brilliance, I now know I was crying for me for not knowing of his existence when I could have. His spirit, his heart, his hate, his love, his art. He showed me there was someone who could feel as I do and still realize his dreams. I know I never knew you and would probably never would fully if I had, but I love you. I will try to live with some resemblance of your wings.

I often go back to the video's of X Japan and his solo concerts, he was so colorful and cool especially during early 90's with his crazy hair and "samurai-goes-metal" outfits, I know HIDE's life ended in May 1998 because everyone say so, but looking at the footage, at his face I still cannot comprehend that he's gone. .and it's been over 25 years. And I hope it was his decision to leave this world even if it is tragic and I don't believe it, because if it was just a drinking accident this is just among any words.

As the umpteenth time telling this, thank you for sharing this story with English subs. The story is almost untold for me, as I'm only relying to his stint with X and Wiki entries. I was hoping this documentary would reveal or confirm the veracity of planned X rebirth in 2000 with hide as the new lead singer. Anyway, is it true? I only got to know X in 2007, and man, the band, alongside Yoshiki and hide as solo artists, didn't fail to fascinate. And yeah, I should have learned Japanese already.

@@honeyblade110 not sure if you found something but… I watched it on the Chinese site billibilli with Chinese subtitles. I used the google translate app to translate them through my camera. Basically I had to stop the video every 2 seconds to use my phone for each subtitle. It took me around 6 hours to watch it all but it was worth it🥺 You can do this with all hide videos that have subtitles I guess. They are not always right but you will understand the context and what they speak about
