Exactly...this one besides O-I and artas were my solution for the MM... Took something from this 3 when i knew i will be bottom tier or wasnt sure i will be least against same tiers...worked perfectly... Nowadays u have to calculate the MM for O-I and KV-2 as well, since at tier 8 u r literally a free frag and happy if u can do 1000 dmg overall... :/

In the final battle. your snap shot one-shot of the Panzer III J, that was rushing onto the Mines hill, was absolutely epic. 3 reasons why: 1. You didn’t even yell “Russia”. 2. The III J was only visible for about a ¼ of a second. 3. Your shot had to arc directly up and over the top of one of your teammates before it raced back down to hit the full speed III J. Only a Russian (or Lithuanian) in a Russian tank could of hit that shot. ;)

I think the right way to play this tank, especially in matchmaking like the first battle, is to mainly use premium ammo and maybe sometimes use HE. That's at least how I have always played this tank and I find it to be much more effective and enjoyable

What was once a fun tank is now just mediocre. Two KV2's could hold a corner against four tier 8's before. Now, it takes four shots to do the same damage. It's lost it's sting.

WG should have leave some things as they were, KV2 was legendary for one shots, but WG decided to kill one of the iconic tanks from the game. Same happened to Type 5. The proper solution would have been to leave the HE damage to higher caliper guns 150mm or more and not nerf everyone.

Hi Skieell day 57 of T71 DA - I am a daily visitor of ur great Index page. Like a week ago I noticed it was bugging cuz page would not load if u clicked whatever button/tank. Luckily it was repeared soon after. But eversince then its like sometimes its working and sometimes its bugging. I dont know how it works but yesterday afternoon it didnt work. Today it worked but I am on Index page right now and its bugging again. Maybe something on my pc needs updating, I have no clue. When 1-shotting some1 with HE, there must be quite some "permanent" critical damages done...When u only penetrate or using AP, they still can repair everything/heal crew afterwards... So still KV-2 or O-I can be the best solution...

Kv2 can still be fun, but only when its top tier or shooting tanks it can pen with he or hold ap. Still fun but not as much fun as it used to be. The days of eating is3's for dinner are long gone. I even killed is7 with a kv2 back in the days of fail platoons. For me the fun was to fight tier 8 tanks and beating them. Now any tier 8 heavy will f kv2 to hell and back without asking its name.

This tank was toxic as fuck. Every tier 6 battle there is at least one KV-2, and at some point in the match you inevitably meet him, and when you do you pray for him to miss or at least don't oneshot you. This said, it STILL can oneshot pretty much any tier six medium with his ap shells, it STILL can damage and cripple tier 8 heavies when you you aim at their roof or ground near their soft bottom. It is now way less OP then when it was before HE change. It is still a good tank with unique gameplay, but people play with it more rarely, which is in my opinion a good thing. I have about 1k games in it and I repeat: thing thing was toxic and unfair.

Derp probably not, because you can penetrate sides via tracks now way more easy, but an important part of KV2 gameplay was being able to still hit tier 8 heavies for 300+ dmg and that is definitely in the past.
