I am not into spooky stuff. Just bc this house has Gothic doors and windows it doesn't mean it has to be dark. It can be romantic, traditional, contemporary, modern or anything you like. Modernized means it's not too back in time. It doesn't necessarily means it is strictly modern. Yellow bricks for exterior walls and dark gray roof. Interior has original flooring except for the bathrooms. All bedrooms are cozy and light. New lights and switches and some ceilings are painted white, for the light feel. Next time it will be decorated differently. I wish they gave us some Christmas trees and items. What are they waiting for?

IT'S A GAME. Most people make costly mistakes when decorating their home. In this simulated game you put to practice things you know and have learned from others. It looks and feels real and is fun.

Nice job. I live in a 135 year old Victorian home, and most of us old house owners do not live in a dark, spooky environment. Love the way you modernized and lightened it up!

Thank you so much Lilypad! Victorian houses can be spooky inside but can also be very bright. This house is very dark. I was cleaning it during the night😄 White paint seemed like a good idea. I hate dark. I always sleep with the lights on. 😁

Thank you very much Sabine. The house was sold for over 1 M dollars. Then bought again. Can't wait to see yours. I know it's going to be beautiful.

Your game is also good. Power washing takes lots of patience. Games which reward you for your hard work are worth playing. Maybe you would like the new game which is to be released on 26th of this month- DINE OUT DLC by Frozen District.
