Yay new episode! 👏🏻 I used to work for CPS (admin role, not social worker) and I just do not understand why child exploitation still doesn't extend to social media and online exposure! It's disgusting that all of your examples clearly fall under the definitions of maltreatment and there's HOURS of documented proof and still no one if protecting these children!!!! I will never be idealistic enough to hope the parents will do the right thing, so the rest of us, and the laws, need to do more to save these kids. The first Mormon family, many of the "fans" watching those videos did actually call the CPS in their county to request safety checks for those kids and CPS never did because the current laws protect parents rights over children's safety. It's heartbreaking. Worst job I've ever had. Also.....have y'all seen the child beauty bloggers?! Young girls using dangerous, expensive anti-aging skincare for content. So gross!!! Thank you for the video! Looking forward to the next when it comes 😊

My son is 5, and he has hated pictures and videos of him since he was 4. I ask him to take a picture to send to his father at work, and he hates it even for something that simple. Also, nothing makes him more upset than thinking other people at laughing at him. Even on the non-predator side of things, it is damaging. Pure and simple.

So, uhhh, can I get the link to that Egypt doc? 😄 Also that urge to be able to just attend school forever is so real. I was an English major in my undergrad and what I wouldn’t give to sit in a classroom with other book nerds talking about Calvinism’s influence on Gothic lit again. Sigh…

My oldest kid is 19 and I still pack his lunch when he goes to university or work sometimes because I care about him and it makes me happy to do that for him.

The amount of clapping and ferociously pointing I did during this video was unseemly 🎉👏

Children of of family bloggers (as in written blogs from the early 2000s) have grown up enough to look back on their experience and it's (unsurprisingly) pretty bad.

Looking back at the time, I think I understood 10th grade Geometry better than the other forms of math, but our teacher went on maternity leave halfway through the year and then it was a lost cause when the sub took over, lol. However, I went to a small school and had a few teachers for multiple subjects over the years, so I had the same guy for 9th grade Algebra, 10th grade Chemistry, 11th grade Physics, and 12th grade AP Environmental Science. I'm pretty sure he graded off of vibes and I always did well because he knew I was a good student in general, but he did catch on that I knew nothing by the time Physics rolled around, lol. Then he didn't allow me to take AP Calc senior year with most of the class, so I was back to learning about stats and probabilities (with a teacher who also happened to be teaching math to my little sister in 7th grade) and I think that was actually the worst I did in a math class.

I hated most science classes in school apart from biology, and teachers not knowing how to explain shit was a big part of that. One year I had a different teacher in maths and physics one year - and that year I was good at it all of a sudden. My sister wasn't that good in maths and is now an architect (different types put still) I was much better in the languages (at least English and French, my native German was my worst 😂)

Did you guys see the Alyssa Grenfell video about her theory about why there are so many Mormon influencers/family channels? Sooooo fascinating and now I think we can all blame the Mormon church for how many Mormon children get exploited. It's wild.

I dont like AI, why not replace every child actors with an animated cartoon child? Let's Roger Rabbit all our movies and tvshows!

Regarding Jodi and Ruby, have you seen any interviews with Jodi's niece Jessi, it's shocking

I was with you until you said we should replace child actors with AI! Definitely get kids out of entertainment *(especially* social media!) but replacing one unethical industry with another isn't a solution 45:11 Caitlyn Jenner is a gross person, but not for transitioning 🤨 Gross take...
