Guys, if Nayoung debuts, she will be the strongest vocalist of the 5th generation... and with a considerable difference. So far she has shown herself to be the most technical vocalist on the program. She has a very good projection opening; in this same performance there are several D5 in which she reaches supported - among current idols, only Lily and Haewon have the ability to do this. Maybe there is still hope in the 5th generation in terms of vocals. And if this group debuts, she won't be the only one with a support technique in the group. Look... I'm hopeful

In sixth sense she sings the entire repertoire in a range that is not very comfortable (for the two vocalists). It served more to show her range a little and to be able to assume how extensive it is. And in fact she was the one who reached the highest note in mixed voice in this performance and in the program, a G#5.

​@@karenlin4215 It's difficult to establish a level with the little material shown. For example, Nayoung seems to have a good head voice connection, so far the notes are very relaxed, however, from what has been shown, it is not possible to know if she has a well-developed head voice to the point of supporting the notes. The good thing about this program is that practically everyone there can sing with support, the exceptions are small. Since her first performance, Nayoung has consistent support and practically no tension up to C#5, but in this song it was possible to understand her range better. Almost all of the D5s from this performance were supported, with the exception of those that it sustained, losing some strength over time. At the end the music increases a semitone, and the Eb5 already establishes her limits. Overall she seems to have a mixed voice very similar to Wendy's. Of the ones you mentioned, they are practically at the same level. Support reaches up to A4, with Hwang Seyoung perhaps having a slightly stronger position, which starts at G4, but the differences in these ranges are extremely small. Kang Yunjeong possibly has the best developed head voice in the program, supporting up to F#5. In general, the supported average for singers there is between G#4 and Bb4. With few supporting up to B4 and, apart from Nayoung, nov was the only one that showed support up to the 5th octave. Regarding the low chest notes, it is difficult to know precisely their range, they are not explored much in the program, only one specific singer showed good development in this region, supporting up to G3, but she has already been eliminated.

But during the casting call they announced that they're using this competition to make a vocal group to be the next Mamamoo/Bigmama. Mamamoo features rap alongside the strong vocals of the overall group, and it doesn't detract from it at all.

@@novetiver This is one of the times where i have a different understanding then other. Moonbuyl isn't a typical rapper in my eyes. Her singing is good and her rapping is more melodic than anything. She make the rap fit the vocal song and not the other way around. I don't see that happen here. And she is not good enough that they get a babymonster typ of group. So with her maybe New jeans will be possible i don't know. But that isn't what i have hoped for from this show. There are enough normal Kpop groups out their. The Team behind this have made Phantom singer. Is it to much to ask for a brilliant vocal group.
