Leta Lestrange Wand DIY

Here it is my handmade Leta Lestrange wand ✨🎨 It is one of the most beautiful and delicate handle ever.
On November 2018 The Crimes of Grindelwald was on cinemas, so I wanted to make my favourite Fantastic Beasts character's wand this month.

🔘 What is a silver leaf? It is a new and very delicate material that I used specifically for this wand. The result is much better and nicer than using silver paints. It is not an aluminium foil! Use a soft brush to stick it.

🔘 What is Varnish Mixtion? It is a varnish to stick the silver leaf. You must let it stand for about 30 minutes before sticking the silver leaf.

Thanks! I use two types of sandpaper: a soft one and a rough one. This time I use the soft one to not damage the handle. Regard to the giveaway, I hope to do it this Christmas 😄

How do you suspend it in the oven so that it won't have a flat side?

I think, because he sands them after baking, it doesn’t need to be suspended. You just smooth out whatever became flat, and of course make the tip of the wand gradually thinner (if that’s the style of the wand)
