the devs really programmed the masks to be the absolute most troll and scary enemy. The fact they mimic player behaviors like spinning to get tped, or hiding in corners for the final kill. Its so good

Plus the masks enemy-creating abilities themselves are so deceptive and just a way to keep them escalating things from zero to 100. First you figure out that putting the mask on gets you. So you just stop putting the mask on. THEN you figure out that even just holding the mask in your hand can end up getting you, so you just stop holding the mask out. AND EVEN THEN you figure out that dying with the mask can get you. So now you be extra careful when you have the mask. And going through facilities more slowly will take longer, leading to more ememies spawning. And then you learn that a mask zombie can be a natural enemy spawn. The entire thing is a study on how to snowball wipe the entire time and I love it.
