​@@8unnyloverbracken is an ambush predator, it sneaks behind people to kill them and tries to retreat when seen, if you stare at it for more than 4 seconds he gets "compromised" and rushes to kill you, it will follow one player around the base and switched targets when they leave or die.

Its because it manages to spread feelings of unease, dread, fear, etc to all players. When you're playing alone it can be very scary, but when the fear you feel in a multiplayer horror game is amplified by the panic of those around you, it makes the multiplayer far superior of done well enough (although it varies a lot depending on who youre playing with) Stellarcrow has an excellent video breaking it all down.

@@EpicEerie Plus it makes a lot of situations where you don't know what to do. Once you've got a single player game down that's kind of it. But with multiplayer, especially one with proximity chat like this, you don't necessarily know what has happened. Are they alive in there or dead? What killed them? Is it a lost cause? In single player there are concrete answers. Here, it's all fluid.

Bracken usually approaches sneakily and backs off if looked at. If you stare at him about 4-5 seconds he’ll enter a rage state and just kill you, so quick glances are key.

the brekken (the shadow snappy neck boy) stalks you when you arent looking, but if you look at him briefly he backs off and waits to come back at you. but if you stare him down as hes backing off, he gets angry and comes after you anyways. You just have to look at him for like 2 seconds and then move your line of sight so he isnt in it anymore and he'll keep backing away for a moment and chill before going back to stalking

Fun tip: type "view monitor" when on the computer in a mission to see the radar from the monitor. Type "switch" or "switch *playername*" to change who the radar is on. Can abbreviate their name to 3 letters normally. The dudes that grab you from behind can be stopped by looking at them till they stop moving and then looking away. DONT stare too long or they charge you
