I started this about 15 minutes ago and it has been AMAZING! At KLAS I had thirteen planes moving at the same time. I had no FPS hit, but I was only watching from above the airport. Later tonight I'll try it again while flying. Outstanding!

Thanks Bobby for this video! I do hope that the database grows in models and liveries. Everything is very simplified and easy which is great, but still lots of white acft in the sim...places like Dubai are a default paradise (due A380) and many major regional carriers in the orient are missing. Giving you feedback as you're part of the team, other than that, I heartily appreciate the very hard work that the FSLTL team has accompolished in such a high quality and convenient way. This will be my mainstay now and for the future.

Did you guess all the correct airports? ❓FAQ: - _Can I use this with AIG or other AI traffic addons?_ *Yes* - _I don't see any traffic moving, why?_ *Due to sim limitations, injected aircraft can only start at a gate or in the air. Therefore will have to go through preflight/recieve clearance etc from MSFS ATC before moving. This means it may take a few minutes before you start seeing movements on the ground.* - _Can I use MSFS Addons linker?_ *Yes you can, you can change the install directory in the flybywire Installer settings.* - _Is this better than AIG?_ *Try it and decide for yourself!* 👾 Known issues/ sim limitations: These are issues we all are waiting for MS/Asobo to fix and are about the control of the AI traffic. All FSLTL does is inject real-time aircraft and tell it to go from A to B. The sims AI system does everything in between and is responsible for: - Odd behavior of AI, spinning/stuck/disappearing planes on taxiway - Planes getting takeoff clearance while others on final - Weird/wrong active runways in use - Lot's of go-arounds/bad separation - Planes in no hurry to vacate runway or never do at all - Planes sometimes hovering over runway at takeoff - Ugly jumping up and down while moving on ground - High speed 'drifting' through airport after landing - Planes not maintaining a steady altitude - Planes beginning to taxi while engines are still starting up

AIG covers way more models/liveries *at the moment* - FSLTL is still fantastic though for the VATSIM flying I've done with it around Europe (this is the main way I fly). Because there are less liveries etc it takes up a lot less HD space. However, FSLTL has much better sounds IMO + the installation process and updates are *much* more straightforward. There's no 10 minute wait for the updater to open when you just want to install the latest models.

IDTS My 40 GB's of AIG took 12 hours to install. I don't know the advantage of FSLTL and Flight radar 24 data if they don't taxi and take off and land as in the flight radar 24 map.

@@atomicboy8972 At least you always have up to date, live data. AIG flight plans have to be updated manually and don't account for daily changes. We can't match the FR24 map 1:1 at the moment due to sim limitations. Maybe in the future!

Just installed this App and ran it together with AIG. At KJFK it is currently raining and you can see and hear the difference between the two Apps. FSLTL is by far more realistic. In FSLTL you can see the water trails on the runway and hear the engine roar on take off. AIG is quiet, no visual or audible effects. I will be using both however. Many thanks to the FBW team.

Thank you, just found this, did the install, Nothing at Newcastle....(normal) So went to Stanstead, busy hub, yay aircraft, ATC started to bring in Ryanairs...brilliant, I'm not a VATSIM user yet. So I decided to just fly home from there in my wee Cessna 02 (USAF) , Weather a bit dodgy, stuck to my course, flew over RAF Fylingdales on the North Yorkshire moors, (THAT'll get me grounded), Called Newcastle, and there's 2 planes being given landing instructions, and I followed them in,,,,BRILLIANT thank you, it was the most enjoyable flight for ages. FSTL is really nice to have

Many thanks for this. I found it so easy to follow. So AIG has now been deleted freeing up 50GB and given this is about 30GB it's a win space wise. Flew from LGW to Edinburgh with the LFVR A319 Easy Jet and loved having all the right aircraft at the airports and in the air. Unfortunately aircraft taxiing to the runway still do a ballet with eachother going round in circles looking totally lost. Given this happened with AIG, Simple Traffic and FSLTL it's sure looks like an Asobo MSFS issue as opposed to the add on. As you said setting the timing on Traffic injection to 60 seconds meant they soon disappeared once stuck and were blocking taxiways. A big well done and thank you to the FBW team. Given Just Flight FS Traffic is still not released and still shows as being released Q1 2022 on their website the FBW team have pulled off a brilliant win for us all with this gem of an add on

Based on what I have seen so far, it's the best AI package available for MSFS, sorry AIG. For the first time with my aircraft parked at my local airport I can look up and see contrails of passing high altitude airliners. I have stairs being used on parked aircraft that are prepping for departure. And those sounds, outstanding. I had doubts about this long-awaited package ever getting off the ground but it's here and I love it. Well done to all involved, it can only get better as Asobo sort out the sims AI issues.

Hello, just want to say thankyou for this amazing tutorial! Was straight to the point and easy to follow as i'm not the best when it comes to these things haha. This works way better than the aig in my opinion, I stopped using aig ages ago due to aircraft spinning around on ground at airports and having ctds at the time. I wasn't even looking for a traffic addon until I went to update the fbw installer thing, and I search about this. FSLTL performs so well and how accurate it is with the live world data is awesome. Sydney looks so alive for once as i fly from there alot and you my man earnt a sub thankyou again :D

Looking forward to installing this, but there is one thing you youtubers need to tell developers of these software. It has to do with the ai traffic density sliders. They need to allow a way to either set the destination sliders' numbers different from the departure airport sliders from the start, or better yet find a way to make the changes mid flight as you approach your destination. The reason is, if you fly from KSFO to KBUR, you may want to set the percentage at 60% at KSFO which should give you a good amount of traffic as it's a big airport with lots of flights. This helps performance and reduces chances of clogging. But Burbank is a smaller airport with less flights so that 60% may not be enough for that airport and maybe 80% would be best there...

I really love how it makes airports feel alive, great sounds, it's real time and is so simple to install. Like AIG though, I am still seeing some glitchy ai behavior. Aircraft doing donuts on taxiways, a ton of go arounds, planes just sitting at hold short point not moving despite no landing traffic. Also seems to be missing some regional airlines(e.g. Horizon Air and the Q400s at KSEA). I hope they can work with Asobo to get these ai behaviors ironed out because it's just a mess actually watching operations at a larger airport in terms of how AI behave.

Only thing I detected inside your great video: There are no aircraft moving, taxiing or doing a take off/ approaching inside your long distance shots. The aircraft al seem to be static. Thank you, Lior! FSLTL takes less space but is also less models/liveries. FPS/perf is comparable. It more depends on how many aircraft you inject. 🙂

I can also confirm that this works perfectly on the Steam Deck in Linux Game/Desktop mode. It's also the only way currently to get Real Time Traffic in the game in Linux as the Online Traffic functionality as well as Multiplayer doesn't work in MSFS in Linux at this time. (Though Weather, Ground Texture Streaming, and Azure Voices do work fine).

It seems like I couldn´t select more than either one of Base models or Injector at a time for installation, which resulted in that only Injector got installed. The console warned me for error as I started Flight Simulator. Is there anything I need to do to prevent further wrongs or can I just keep it as it is but simply install Base models on top of it? Or do i have to uninstall and do it over again?

You need both installed otherwise the injector won't work properly. Just install 1 at a time and you should be fine. 👌
