I don’t know how many more times I can say it, players standing still like statues are easy to mark, tempo again was way too slow and because of those two factors we are forced to play backwards all the time as everyone is man marked. Someone replied to my comment on here after the Gillingham game saying I was too harsh on the players. Well we seem to have got worse. Relegation form so lucky we have enough points already. But if things continue I can only see a relegation battle next season. If the brothers want us to play a certain style they need to upgrade the whole defence. You can’t have defenders pulling out of challenges like I saw Cameron do. Notts need a lot more steal in midfield to. And before anyone says it’s a good position for the 1st year back, remember it was the board, manager and players that said promotion was the aim.

5 points from the last 24 available is simply not good enough. Going backwards under Maynard. Tactics were wrong, formation was wrong. Playing Jodi and Nemane on the same side and Macca on the wing 🤷🏻‍♂️ Players looked lethargic. Out of the Wrexham, Crewe and Sutton game we can only get a maximum of 3 points out of a possible 9…simply not good enough. We are now in the bottom half of the league and have won the same amount of games that we’ve lost and we’re still shipping goals. Maynard said nothing needs changing “just a few tweaks” well it’s about bloody time to start tweaking things. Fans unhappy. Worst Notts performance in a long time

I know it’s not going well at the moment but I don’t want to blame the manager for it. My only issue is Langstaff on the wing your top scorer should at no point be at left back blocking shots

Who else do you blame but the manager? The team were awful. In this league, you don't get anything playing nice, elaborate football that is easily disrupted, causing you to start going sideways, occasionally passing back to the keeper and generally looking like you don't have any other options. Or, indeed, ideas. That was Gillingham v2.0 and it's already getting old.

Sorry to say, but I was not happy with the appointment. Shows lack of ambition from the owners. But to be honest this lot are not good enough for L1, so they may be looking at next year for a big clearout and new players coming in

the problems started last summer 3 ACL injuries a small squad. 30 points up to mid october nothing since but individual defensive and defensive midfield mistakes all season long national league defence not managers fault and first division strikeforce. Maynard inherited a complete mess in late january post williams era after 4 goals against tranmere 5 against colchester and 5 against grimsby all bottom half teams. The problems were not solved in the January transfer window with five players recruited who had between them played 1080 minutes first team football in the previous six months which is ten games in total. None of this is maynards fault he inherited a shitshow

We have had some tough fixtures, but todays performance was disappointing. Too many players were playing out of position. You lose chemistry. The match against Sutton is a must win. We need more patience with the manager.

Won't be long until the attendances start to drop. Maynard was a horror performance, he's going to cost the club a vast amount in gate receipts. He's already turning us into a laughing stock, the man hasn't got the slightest idea at all.

4points out 18 isn't good enuff the jump from Wealdstone to league 2 is just to big for this clown the owners need to bring his employment to an end as our season is coming to a bad ending Maynard out 😡😡😡😡😡😡

It is not the managers fault. We were not awake, crewe kept on making tackles that should've been fouls and the ref was the worst ive seen all season.

@@cheesy1224 using the ref as an excuse again I see its not the ref that sets the team up unfortunately it's this clown I mean I understand he's got to make changes but changing formation three/four times during one game is far to many in my book and just proves the step up he's made is far to great for him and sooner the owners realise this the better because 4 points out of 18 isn't good enuff and wat a drab ending to a season that showed so much promise the own playoffs seem just a pipe dream now Maynard out 😡😡😡😡😡😡
