I am just in awe of the Petite Danse School of Dance in Rio, Brazil, who can produce Leticia Dominguez - a technically incredible dancer with an outstandingly beautiful QUALITY to her movement - this year, in the footsteps of the amazingly beautiful Mayara Magri who won in 2011 and who is now with the Royal Ballet..... Congratulations to you all at Petite Danse, you teachers there do really great and important work!

Leticia is basically saying she feels more comfortable now with the judges and teachers in class, and that her turns are better to the left. she was surprised with the stage being so raked, but she's confident about her variation. she's also enjoying the contemporary class!

IMHO: Beautiful work and presence. Good class work and choice for the classical variation; however, I would have liked seeing her keeping the character's youth and vivacious while doing her piques turns before the end. I believe she is one of the best in this year's competition. Toi-toi Leticia!

pt. 4 of What She's Saying (after contemporary class): so I just left contemporary class (LOL), it was very nice, very different from yesterday, there were more steps, they were much better today. Now I'm going to rest, I'm just waiting for my friend Juliana, from my school, cause I'm finished. then we're going to the hotel to rest, I'm tired. and tomorrow it's all over again! thank you!

rehearse, it's the first stage rehearsal. I wanna see how the theatre looks like, and the slope (I think the stage here is slope-ish?) I'm a bit nervous, a bit anxious, but everything's gonna be fine. thank you! :)

pt 2 of What She's Saying: I do the steps better to the left, I turn better to the left. he [I'm assuming she means the teacher] asked who'd like to do it (the steps) again, I did, to the left, it was very good. Class was very good today, I was more used to the jury, I think they liked the class very much, and I think I did well. Now we're going to rehearse! I'm a bit tired, yesterday we got here very early, nearly eight, cause the class was at 9. I'm a bit sleepy, but looking forward to +

pt. 3 of What She's Saying (after the stage rehearsal): hello, what's up :) so I just left the stage rehearsal, it was more like a run through, but I was really surprised (she means like a LOT), cause it's way more inclined than I thought it would be. It's like 90 degrees, very inclined, but we practiced it in class, how the body should be, and it worked here. it was a good run through, now I'm gonna wait for the rehearsal with the teacher, so he can fix my arms, etc, to make it even better!

okay, I hope she doesn't say a lot of things or this'll be long, hahaha... anyway, she says hello (lol), and then: 'we just had our last classical class (?) with the jury, it was quite similar to yesterday's, today we were more confident, but the steps were very much alike. I think I did well in class. We now have 15 minutes to rest, then we're gonna run through the variations, and I guess everything's fine!' :D
