Where I'm from, all the festivals happen at this race track for horses. When letlive. played last March, Jason Butler got off stage in the middle of a song and chased a horse.

Fucking hell, the security doesn't know who to restrain, the fans or Jason xD what a fucking legend. Love the bit when he tries like 3 times to pull the drum kit off stage, this is a guy who absolutely lives and breaths music. I very rarely find a band that intrigues me the way these guys do, the way they write the instrumentation and vocal melodies combined with those powerful lyrics that get stuck in your head for weeks...

THIS is a modern day rock band. The singer gets a ton of attention, and he's a role model and hell of a rockstar. But we need WAY more bands like this. No holds barred, no bullshit. The people will follow. ll.

letlive. was better tbh. Jason seems really passionate about fever but I just miss the emotional side if him in ll. In fever it's just a bunch of angry screaming and not nearly as melodic or heartfelt as the stuff in ll. Like I miss seeing them live and Jason would give a long heartfelt speech during Muther.

Exactly. They're not destroying their gear, just banging it up a bit. And they never destroy a venue, maybe just break it in a bit. Jason's an extremely humble dude, who shows how crazy he actually is on stage, and does it well.

He's one of the few vocalists around today that is so in touch with the message he's trying to convey. You could say his performances are really reckless and dickish or whatever, but to me and so many others it's a completely honest and real performance which to be honest you don't see a lot of people doing in metal, which to me is so choreographed these days. What he does on stage and in person are two completely different things. Also, he wasn't voted the greatest rock star in the world by Kerrang in 2012 which is how I discovered them.

if people are wondering how they still get shows after pretty much destroying expensive property, it's because of how popular they've become and they basically make venues enough money to buy twice the equipment they had before because why would anyone NOT pay to see them?
@WeAreBrooklyn11 жыл бұрын
in the extended version of the video, you can see him running on stage from near the crowd area - the security guard thought he was a crazy member of the crowd. which I guess he pretty much is at half of the shows he plays, hahaha.
