The hook is sung in the same tune as the hook to the classic song "You Are Everything" by the Stylistics, which goes 🎶"You are everything, & everything is you." 🎶 It's also the same tune sampled for the song & in the hook for Mary J. Wow. You never heard of Letoya Luckett. Letoya is one of the original Destiny's Child members along with Beyonce, Kelly, and Lativa. All of them are from Houston and grew up together. Letoya is the only member besides Beyonce to have a platinum album. Great actress and catalog. She's my personal fave from destiny's child.

LeToya and Latavia recorded the first two albums. If you look at the single covers for Say My Name and Jumpin' Jumpin' they were on the covers. Michelle and Farrah were only in the video. They let them go from the group mid promotion of their second album. LeToya and Latavia said the way they found out they were not longer in DC was by watching the Say My Name video on tv

Back then, if you were a black artist, you weren’t part of the mainstream circulation if you weren’t either a BIG star or you weren’t doing pop music.
