The driver and gunner would have a personal rifle inside the vehicle, either a carabine or a SMG. I also would recommend to make the hatch on the driver side to open to the outside. It will give extra cover when exiting the vehicle through there. This IFV makes me think of the AAVP-7A1 amphibious assault vehicle currently in use by the US Marines. That has in fact a crew of 3 and can carry 21 soldiers into combat. Its wheeled successor will have a capacity similar to the IFV built here.

I know this is hella late to tell you this, but all US Army vehicles (as far as i know and i drove quite a few) are bright white interior to assist with visibility in the closed vehicle. Also allows for dimmer interior lights! Love the content btw man. These random stormworks build playlists are my all time favorites!

Nice video!! Can you make laser guided missiles that fold out to the side first and then get elevated similar how the Lynx IFV has it in real life. And maybe make them reload automatically from a magazine inside the turret?

Hi Frantic, quick recommendation, if your IFV is amphibious then it probably should have an underwater welder.

Gunner and driver need self defense. So put an SMG and a pistol in there for each of them with 2 spare mags for both. You might want to consider also setting up a dual alternating firing turret gun. I've done that using a numerical switch box with the on being fed by a counter (ping pong) with a constant number speed. The speed varies depending on what kind of auto cannon I've hooked up to it, but for light auto cannons, it's at 0.03. But then I hook the output for the switchbox to two threshold gates. One is set to a threshold of -1 to -0.5 and the other is from 0.5 to 1. The advantage of this is that as the number bounces between -1 and 1, the guns are not constantly firing. So the barrels don't heat up as much and they don't dump as much ammo and can, in a sense, pump out more rounds down range than if you were to hold down the trigger with them firing simultaneously. Just try it and you'll probably get a small jump out of it. The amount of rounds it flings in comparison to holding down the trigger is frightening and is essentially more effective in AA roles. But beyond that, you may want to add binoculars, oxygen masks, and an underwater welder. Being amphibious you should take into consideration of the what-ifs also happening while you're afloat. But it's coming along. Keep it up.

Hi Frantic, you could try to make a hood at the front of your tank to be able to access the engine in the event of a problem otherwise and return the trap to the front because in an armored vehicle the traps always open outwards and not inwards, continue like that

You should add a 75mm auto loading gun (like one that uses telescoped ammo). It has the advantages of the reload speed of most IFVs with the power to decimate most soft and medium targets

If you want to make it float maybe you could make it 1 or 2 for a fuel tank in the floor so then you’ll have lots of fuel and a lower center of gravity so you don’t capsize also add 1 gun for the driver

Most IFV's have a defensive armament or offensive armament what ever way you put it 9/10 it's a Autocannon rangeing between 10mm-50mm I think it could be modeled in This game if ana autocannon exists in it

I was testing engines today and had a 12cyl 1x1 engine running a tank at 60 mph. It just needs the right gears to make it work. A 2 cylinder 3x3 is not much more powerful and just takes up space you could use for gears and the cooling you need to keep it from overheating. Just food for thought. I know everybody wants bigger engine.

I go for the middle ground. I want it geared but also a bigger engine so I suggested the 3x3x1 modular. Should still be plenty of room for a transmission with it. And if geared properly maybe it won’t need a ton of cooling paraphernalia.
