LETS ADD PADS! Heel Failure FIX!

This horse was coming off recently being shod, radiographs showed a dropping heel from Caudal Heel failure from open shoes without heel support. Nice follow up. My vet prescribed Natural Balance wedge shoes for my mare. My shoer was also searching for pads to bring up heels. Coffin bone is fine no navicular in the x-rays. She's been running barefoot a long time and started limping. Previcox for 30 days. I'll send my farrier this video. God bless America back at you

Hello! The problem we see with a wedged open heeled shoe is the frog loses pressure and no longer touches the ground to promote growth in the back half of the foot. That is why we prefer to use the frog support pads for heel failure because they promote healthy growth of the heels while balancing pressure across the frog!
