Yeah, I like the idea of the heel and toe shifter, a lot. i never used one, but now I can see it in action from your acute description of the "action", and once I heard you describe the action of the heel shifter, i visualized my shifting done by stepping down, and the wear of shifting on my boot would not show near the toe, anymore. I began riding in the early 70's, so my left leg has a built in memory, that likes to feel at home, so, I may never get one unless one day i try one, who knows, the journey of Motorcycling is always full of surprise.

Harley Davidson has always been a bicycle with an engine, and when the engine got bigger, so did everything supporting it. Did Harley change what ST stands for? 🤔 I had a '14 Street Glide ST and it was one grade above being an Electra and it was bone stock 103. BTW, I'm currently on a '17 Road King and my taillights are the old style dog bone but I added the HD circuit that turn the turn signals into run/turn.
@sikbaggers Жыл бұрын
In 2014 there was no ST...only a street glide FLHX (base model), street glide Special FLHXS (special) . The ST was not introduced until 22' And thats an excellent upgrade...adding any kind of running lights to the rear of these is always a good idea. I always found that the one light was really not enough with people on their phones so much anymore. its like they need slapped in the head when someone in front of them are stopping. lol
@michiganborn8303 Жыл бұрын
@SIK Baggers 😅 that would be hilarious. Hit your brake lever and huge hand just reaches out and slaps the cell phone, makeup 💄, Taco Bell or whatever it is that's distracting the driver. Buuut since that cool technology doesn't exist yet I went and added LED turn signal all around, headlight, Advanblack King Tour pack with the Advanblack LED Tour pack taillights. Anthony Castellano sure has seen a lot of business from me for both the FLHR and the FLHX.

Wish I had a Million dollars to buy a Harley Davidson and Upgrade It..
@sikbaggers Жыл бұрын
While it certainly doesn't take a million dollars to do this I understand it can be costly. I struggled for a few days on how to respond to your comment. Trust me, I have been in some pretty bad spots over the years living check to check and a lot of times just plain broke as hell. I have spent the last 6 years busting my ass at a full time job (50 hours a week) , coming home and sacrificing my family time making/editing videos for youtube, making posts on all social platforms, spending countless hours in forums helping, waking up at 4am to make sure all comments are replied to on all social media platforms, emails, networking with brands and other channels, etc...you get the point. I barely leave any time for myself just to build this brand and be able to do these things. my family has sacrificed as much as I have over the years. But I have learned a few things in 50 years, mack....Work hard, stay humble, remember where you came from and you dont get what you want by wishing and hoping for it. Best of luck in your adventures, sir. Be safe!
@mackdell1581 Жыл бұрын
@@sikbaggers I also struggled to respond. First off I'm not some couch cowboy sending out negative comments, I work my ass off every day to have what I want not need I made sure my family was taken of before I indulged in something I wanted. I know it does not take a Million dollars to build a bike but than again the cost of EVERYTHING has gone up at least 3 times more in the last two and half years (Wonder how that happened F.J.B) I am in the process of building my 2020 Harley Road Glide and yes parts are not cheap and had to wait until my 50's to be able to do so. In any case I did not mean to offend you or anyone else with my comment and I do check out your videos for product information. Just recently you posted a video for a seat lock that I did purchase because of YOUR recommendation and my peace of mind after spending over $800.00 for a seat but even that lock screw was $80.00. Anything I do to my Harley now or would like to do cost's at the very least $1,000 or more plus still pay mortgage and rising food and prescription costs. So as far as I am concerned my Million dollar remark wasn't far off. Not to mention I would love to one day go to Daytona bike week and to Sturgis and as you know That is not cheap either. All that aside I do and I'm sure many others appreciate your videos and work that you do. I look forward to seeing your upgrades to your new bike. Best of luck to you and yours. Be safe

@@mackdell1581 Hey mack, no offense taken sir. And I apologize...Its very hard to read "how" someone says something when its just a comment on youtube. I wasn't trying to say that YOU directly were not workingor trying...I get a lot of comments like this and 99% of the time its in a negative light and they assume I just sit around all day making videos and getting paid. I try to help people understand how much work goes into this and the pay off isn't quite up to par in my opinion but we do it because we love helping people. And you are correct, the prices of everything has gone up to point where it makes it hard for anyone to make that bike payment let alone do any upgrades. I understand....as about 90% of the videos I do on this channel I have to buy the parts...another common misconception that everyone just gives us parts and really not the case.
