Love this! I learned something new! Using the bar, and also adding charms on a bail! These are beautiful! Thank you!❤️🌺🌸🦋 The three stack looks beautiful!

I do agree that using the different embellishments make a difference in the looks. I made 6 bracelets and I figured out that I need to start incorporating spacers and metal findings to take it to the next level.

Dear Serenity, I am learning everything from you including your paper crafts. One day, way in future I hope to send you pics. My time is limited so it hard to surf the tube, but I do now and then. But, you are my main lady. Your personality shines too. I get coupons now from all the craft stores for I signed up to get them. This has become my second life. I am a RN and after long day in the hospital, my weekends are listening and watching you. I just wanted you to know this because I was ready to blow the hospital roof off, for this is not an relaxing career. lol. .......Kelly B.

I agree that the .7 is sturdier than the .5 stretch cord. I use the heaviest size that will work with my beads. I use Hypo Cement instead of Glossy Accents. It never clogs. :) Very pretty bracelets!

I love you bracelets. I often had the same problem with the knot. However like you I watch others and one showed a trick. Before cutting the excess of the string. Try stringing one end into the bead you intend to hide the knot. Put you down of glue or not and put and it should slip right in with a small pop. This has saved me a lot of heartache, because I am a perfectionist unfortunately. Just thought I'd share the trick with you being a fellow stretchy bead maker. Love you work. It's beautiful.

@afallas723 жыл бұрын
I use Stretch Magic that Michael’s and hobby lobby sell. I use the 1 mm for heavy beads and the .5 for beads that are not heavy. I would strongly suggest to use glossy accents on the knot when you finish the bracelet off and if you want to cover the knot use a bead crimp cover it hides the knot and looks like a bead. They have a good selection at hobby lobby by jewelry shoppe. I hope that helps. Thank you for you sweet comment. Have a blessed day!

Hi Anna! I have been binge watching your jewelry videos and I'm in love. You mentioned in one of them that you might be running out of ideas. Would you consider making your interpretation of wine glasses charms and key chains using beads? Also - have you seen the slave bracelets - you could probably make cute ones. Thank for your jewelry making series :) Hugs, Irene
@afallas727 жыл бұрын
LuciaCaso Hey Lucia, thank you so much for your comment you are too awesome. Yes, I did mention running low on ideas. now do you mean the key chains that have the big plastic beads that spell names? I would think for key chains you would to use only durable things as those take a daily beating so like plastic beads or wooden ones, but I will look into that. as for slave bracelets I have never heard of that and the name is horrible. I will see what those are about but I wouldn't use that same name if I was to remake them :(. thank you so much for the ideas those r always appreciated. mucho hugs, Anna
@LuciaCaso7 жыл бұрын
Yes, slave bracelet sounds awful. You could call them wrist ring bracelet. They look very cute for sure. You are right about the durability of a key chain. Maybe not a good idea. But the wine glasses charms I'm almost positive you would be amazing designing a set of 6. Hugs, Irene

Nancy Winn hello Nancy thank you so much for your comment. well when I normally give them as I honestly guess or I will ask what their wrist size is but the most comment wrist size is a 7 and I am a 6. when I make chain bracelets I use extenders so that it fits ant size wrist but with stretchy bracelets it is a guessing game. sorry I couldn't be more help.

Why do you leave long tails when you cut the string? Is Stretchy string different than wire as far as wanting to get it flush?
@afallas726 жыл бұрын
Stretchy string bracelets i dont keep the strings too long when i cut them but add glossy accents to the knot and wait for it to dry before i cut them shorter but i never cut them flush to the knot. I also use crimp covers to cover the knots and it looks better especially if u cant hid the knot inside a bead. I hope that makes sense. When i use wire i cut that flush to the crimp bead.
