Stunning colorway. I can't get enough of all the orange colorways lately. I'm saving up my self-imposed yarn allowance to place another order. Funny you should mention wanting to see it stitched up into a sweater, Tyler, because my current plan is to design myself a crocheted sweater with some of the orangey AFW fingering weight skeins in my collection. I think a skein or two of this beauty would be a great addition to any colorwork I do.

Lovely colorway!! The peachy does come through. Not even close to blood orange though, I have a blood orange tree, those suckers are literally blood red!!! (Inside, outside looks like an orange. 😉😂). Oooooooooooo, that would be a great idea!!

If your yarn already heated up when you put it in the pan, as the colour seems to take almost instantly. Is the dye stock pre heated too? Do you ever do speckled yarns?
@arcanefibreworks6 ай бұрын
Our yarn is basically room temperature and so is our dye. Low immersion allows that die to strike quite quickly. We do have some color ways that we call mid immersion and that tends to travel a little bit further.
@Pheebs776 ай бұрын
@@arcanefibreworks do you use citric acid or ammonium sulphate? I read that AS is better for slower colour absorption as you heat the yarn? I'm a noob dyer on a bit of a learning curve 😁
